After a twelve day winter break, Bayern Munich players returned to the Säbener Straße to undergo tests in preparation for the second half of the season. However, it seems that Michael Olise was late to arrive, if Bild is to be believed.
According to the report, Vincent Kompany mandated that all players had to be present by 12:30pm, before going upstairs into the training rooms for important blood tests. Bayern Munich performs tests on their players to assess their health and fatigue levels, which involves checking lactate and creatinine kinase levels.
Michael Olise, it turns out, missed the deadline. The Frenchman arrived at the underground parking garage at 12:32pm, two minutes after the allotted meeting time. Olise greeted the fans before entering the parking spaces inside. Bild, being Bild, notes that there was “loud rap music playing from his car”.
This is an unfortunate look for Olise, being late to the first team training session of the year. It remains to be seen if Vincent Kompany will take any action against the player for missing the deadline. This would be the first time Olise has ever had a problem with being on time, and hopefully it is the last. A club like Bayern Munich has very little patience for these things, even if it is only a few minutes.
