Ability: Pickup

Attacking Pokémon from the opposing team will pilfer their battle item. Defeating a wild Pokémon will pilfer a random battle item. Pickup goes on cooldown after it’s triggered. Moving toward Aeos energy or gold coins increases Meowth’s movement speed. Picking up gold coins increases Meowth’s movement speed for a short time.

Basic Attack

Becomes a boosted attack with every third attack, dropping gold coins near opposing Pokémon it hits.

Scratch

Meowth scratches a designated opposing Pokémon with its sharp claws, dealing damage.

Feint

Meowth dashes at the designated opposing Pokémon, dealing damage to opposing Pokémon it hits.

Pay Day

Meowth hurls a gold coin in the designated direction, dealing damage and applying a slowing effect to opposing Pokémon it hits. Gold coins will drop near opposing Pokémon it hits. A maximum of two uses can be kept in reserve for this move. Picking up gold coins reduces the time until another reserve use becomes available. Pay Day can be upgraded to increase the damage it deals.

Fury Swipes

Meowth swipes twice with its sharp claws at the designated opposing Pokémon, dealing damage and granting itself a shield effect. The number of swipes increases (up to five maximum) based on the number of times Meowth has recently dealt damage to opposing Pokémon. When Fury Swipes hits, that number of times resets. If the maximum number of swipes hit, the cooldowns for Feint, Feint Attack, and Assurance reset. Fury Swipes can be upgraded to increase the damage it deals.

Feint Attack

Meowth pounces at the designated opposing Pokémon and scratches them with its claws, dealing damage and leaving them unable to act. When Feint Attack hits, Meowth is granted a shield effect and can quickly move in a designated direction. Meowth’s next basic attack becomes a boosted attack. Feint Attack can be upgraded to strengthen the shield effect it grants.

Assurance

Meowth charges in the designated direction, dealing damage to opposing Pokémon and restoring its HP. The more times Meowth has recently dealt damage to the opposing Pokémon (maximum five times), the more HP is restored. Assurance deals double damage to opposing Pokémon Meowth has recently dealt damage to five or more times. The count of times then resets. Assurance can be upgraded to reduce its cooldown.

Gold Coin Barrage

Meowth unleashes a barrage of gold coins toward the designated Pokémon from the opposing team, dealing damage. If Pokémon from the opposing team step in the coins’ path, the coins will hit them instead. During the attack, coins will periodically drop near Pokémon from the opposing team hit by the move.

We hope you have a pawsome time with Meowth, Trainers!
