Following the success of Thudarum starring Mohanlal, director Tharun Moorthy has reportedly caught the attention of Telugu megastar Chiranjeevi. Industry buzz suggests that the filmmaker recently met Chiranjeevi, who was highly impressed after watching Thudarum.
According to sources close to the development, Tharun Moorthy also narrated a basic storyline during the meeting. The concept is said to have impressed Chiranjeevi significantly, sparking speculation that the project could move forward in the future.
While nothing has been officially confirmed yet, talks are believed to be in the early stages, with the actor reportedly encouraging the director to develop the idea into a full-fledged script.
However, fans may need to wait before expecting any official announcement. Chiranjeevi is currently occupied with multiple commitments, including his ongoing project with director Bobby Kolli.
The veteran star will collaborate with Srikanth Odela for another big-budget entertainer. Apart from these, a project with one of director Sukumar’s former assistants is also said to be in discussion stages.
Even so, the possibility of Tharun Moorthy directing Chiranjeevi has already generated strong excitement among movie lovers.
