Margot Robbie Looks Unrecognizable With a New Haircut and Bangs

Margot Robbie’s Wuthering Heights-fueled gothic romance era has officially come to a close with the debut of a brand-new, ultra modern haircut during Paris Fashion Week. Stepping out for the Chanel ready-to-wear show on Monday, March 9, the actress rocked a side-part lob, a full fringe, and the much beloved outfit combination of jeans and a (sheer) tank top. She paired the casual look with a Chanel 25 bag and the brand’s iconic cap-toe heels.

Robbie’s return to contemporary dress came in the wake of a long Wuthering Heights promo tour that saw the actress dressed to the nines in corsets, heels, and, at one point, a bracelet made to look like Emily Brontë’s hair. The past few months have been, in other words, one very long master class in method dressing courtesy of the Barbie actress.

One of Robbie’s most memorable looks came just last month when she traveled home for the Wuthering Heights premiere in Australia. Stepping onto the blue carpet at State Theatre in Sydney, Robbie posed in an ethereal shipwrecked gown that featured sheer sleeves, a cinched corset, a figure-hugging silhouette, a trailing see-through skirt, and shredded, tattered details throughout. She paired the custom Ashi Studio centerpiece with a beaded choker, drop earrings, and diamond statement rings.

Robbie was, of course, joined by her co-star Jacob Elordi, who looked dapper in a slate-grey suit featuring a double-breasted jacket and slightly slouchy pants. He added a grey button-down shirt, black tie, matching socks, and taupe-colored loafers. For some bling, Elordi accented his look with a gold tooth and a single tiny stud earring.
