LIVE: PSG vs Arsenal, UEFA Champions League Final: PSG 1 – 1 ARS, Dembele penalty brings PSG back level

Space for Doue on the right, dribbles inward and tees up Vitinha at the edge of the box. With the defence converging he has to shoot early and it goes just high. 

PSG 1 – 1 ARS. Six minutes of added time. 

Nuno Mendes fluffs his clearance and sends Madueke on his way. Gyokeres and Havertz hare forward but the ball is gobbled up by Safonov. 

Nervous times for PSG. Rice’s long throw pops up inside the box and is blocked by Pacho. Barcola beats the defender and finds space to run into but Raya does brilliantly well to come off his line and hold onto the ball. 

Madueke and Martinelli waiting to come on. But a PSG corner first. Pacho managed to get his head on it but it was too high.

Saka and Trossard the ones coming off. Barcola replaces Kvaratskhelia. 

Lewis-Skelly does excellently well to stay goal side of Doue as he looked to run down the left. A push from the PSG forward and the freekick goes Arsenal’s way. 

Chance!! Kvaratskhelia with a chance to run at goal after a positive deflection. Runs across the length off the pitch on the left flank and his shot deflects off Gabriel and then the post and goes out for a corner. 

Another poor corner from PSG. Dembele’s ball in clears everyone in the box. 

Safonov quick off his feet to stifle the chance for PSG after a ricochet almost sent the forward through on goal. 

A careless pass from the Arsenal defence. Hakimi charges forward and finds Dembele whose shot is deflected behind. 

Vitinha with a powerful shot from outside the box, too high to trouble Raya in goal. 

Dembele’s diagonal finds Hakimi in space on the right flank but he can’t get his cross past the first defender. 

Dembele puts a cross in from the right after a short corner but it is too long. 

Jurrien Timber replaces Mosquera who is lucky to still be on the pitch after that challenge in the box. Viktor Gyokeres replaces Martin Odegaard. 

GOAL!!! No mistake from Dembele from the spot. Slots it calmly into the bottom left corner of the goal. 

PSG right back in it now. 

PSG 1 – 1 ARS

Kvaratskhelia was brought down in the box by Mosquera, dangled his leg as the Georgian was making a run in. The Spaniard is already on a yellow. VAR confirms the decision. 

Saka pushes Neves down to the ground and is unhappy with the decision. The winger is already on a yellow and needs to be careful with his confrontation. 

Pacho down on the floor after Havertz arm into the side of his head. Arsenal has been looking for cheap freekicks over the last two minutes and the referee has done well to not fall for it. 

Saka shown a yellow card for a challenge on Doue. Was a good tackle from Doue and the English winger caught him on the follow through. 

A low shot from Hakimi on the freekick but Raya gets down and holds on. 

A foul throw from Joao Neves on the right flank but Arsenal gives the ball back immediately. 

Kvaratskhelia more central now but hasn’t seen the ball in a while. The impetus is coming from Vitinha’s runs forward but there is no space for the forwards. 

Luis Enrique calling for calm from the touchline. Doue has just swung a wayward cross deep into the box, beyond the reach of a waiting Dembele. 

More purpose from PSG at the start of the second half. PSG retains possession rather than opting for their famed kick off routine where they kick the ball out of touch. 

Mosquera is shown a yellow card for delaying the throw in. A lot more of this in store in this half. 

A confident Arsenal walk out for the second 45. The side has been brilliant defensively after scoring that early goal. Can they maintain the discipline for another half?

Saka takes his own sweet time to take the corner and the referee blow for halftime. Saka with his arms up at the corner flag while the others make their way back in. 

The PSG corner is headed out towards Nunes who passes it to Vitinha who manages to find Ruiz in space on the left flank. Goes for a first time shot that is straight at Raya. He doesn’t hold it on the first attempt but manages to pouch it on the second attempt. 

Some space for Doue to take a shot away after some short passing at the edge of the box. The young Frenchman’s shot is off target but. The wait for a shot on target continues. 

Arsenal almost doubles the lead. Havertz was almost clean through near the right edge of the box, Marquinhos’ timely tackle saves the day for PSG.

Dembele shifts the ball onto his left foot and looks to get a shot away, blazes it wide. Hasn’t been able to get his shooting boots on so far. 

Six minutes of added time. 

Chance!! Ruiz heads the ball over the bar! Excellent play from Nuno Mendes to beat Mosquera and make a dash to the line. His ball in is deflected into the path of Ruiz but he can’t keep his header on target. 

Havertz down on the floor after an unintentional arm by Hakimi as he looked to take the ball off him for a throw. The referees manage to diffuse the situation. 

Doue steals the ball high up and PSG have a chance to run at the defence. Vitinha plays in Dembele but he has no space to take a shot, rebounds back to the edge of the area from where Arsenal clears again. 

PSG play a short corner around and pass it to Mendes who curls a threatening ball in but Dembele couldn’t control it in the box. 

Saka is pushed down by Mendes after Rice steals the ball high up near the centre-line. Rice whips a ball in and Gabriel is adjudged to have fouled Ruiz in the box. 

A chipped pass into the box from the left back forces Raya to come off his line and kick the ball away. PSG continues to dominate the ball but Arsenal are affording the team no space. 

Dembele fakes a shot to create some space and lobs a ball in, easy catch for Raya at the end. 

Game back underway after the delay due to injury. No space for the PSG players to play the ball in from the right. A cross comes in from the right but is headed away by Gabriel. 

Nuno Mendes has been down in the box for quite a while. Off the ball collision with Gabriel the reason but looks more an accidental coming together. 

Safonov called into action!! Saka puts in a low cross into the box from the right. The Russian keeper dives forward and pushes it away. Cops a blow on his head from Marquinhos for his troubles. 

Chevalier warming on the side as Safonov is treated by the medical team. 

A miskick from Saliba opens the pathway for a PSG attack. Dembele heads the ball back to Kvaratskhelia who is once again double-teamed upon and the attack fizzes out. Time for a water break. 

Arsenal’s deep line of defence forcing PSG to attempt long balls over the last line of defence. But there isn’t enough space behind the line to threaten the English champion. 

81% possession for PSG but the side is yet to create a chance of note. Doue double teamed on the left flank and loses the ball. 

Hakimi finds some space behind the fullback wide on the right side. He is found by a low pass but his attempted cross is turned behind for a corner.

Appeals for handball as Saka took two attempts to clear the ball away. Not given on field and no intervention from VAR.

PSG remains patient in possession. The Arsenal press is pushing the team sideways than forward. 

Last ditch defending from Gabriel! Doue makes a run in from the right flank, looks to squeeze one through the eye of the needle. Looked to be an easy clearance but it trickles through for Kvaratskhelia until Gabriel extends his legs and manages to push it away. 

Ruiz’s header from the ensuing corners thuds into the side netting. 

First entry into the attacking third for PSG. Hakimi takes on Hincapie and manages to put a low ball in but it is read by Saliba. 

Arsenal back defending in numbers, no space for the PSG frontmen to create a chance on goal. 

Havertz gives the gunners the lead!! Arsenal get the rub of the green, the attempted clearance from the defender bounces off Trossard and falls into the path of Havertz. 

The angle was tight and passing to Saka seemed the better option but the German launches it into the roof of the net!

PSG 0 – 1 ARS

Referee blows the whistle for a foul by Fabian Ruiz. The Spaniard isn’t happy with the decision. 

High press from Arsenal high up the pitch. PSG hasn’t been able to progress the ball into its own half. Joao Neves dropping back from midfield to help the side recycle possession. 

Arsenal to get us underway in the first half. Trossard down on the floor after a challenge from Hakimi. Foul given. Rice launches it in but it trickles away for a goal kick. 

The two sides are welcomed by a raucous applause to the Puskas Arena. The Champions League anthem is being played for the last time this season. Will Arsenal’s wait end or will PSG stamp its authority? Time to find out.

Fabian Ruiz and Achraf Hakimi scored to put PSG in control before Bukayo Saka pulled one back for Arsenal. Ousmane Dembele scored the only goal in the first leg of the tie.
