Welcome to the live coverage of the UEFA Champions League 2025/26 final between Paris Saint-Germain and Arsenal on Saturday.
The Puskas Arena in Budapest will play host to the summit clash of Europe’s grandest club competition. English Premier League champion Arsenal have the opportunity to end their long wait for a UCL title in their first final since 2006.
PSG, on the other hand, have the opportunity to become the first team to retain the Champions League crown since the Real Madrid side that won three in a row between 2015 and 2018.

Dembele’s diagonal finds Hakimi in space on the right flank but he can’t get his cross past the first defender.
Dembele puts a cross in from the right after a short corner but it is too long.

GOAL!!! No mistake from Dembele from the spot. Slots it calmly into the bottom left corner of the goal.

The PSG corner is headed out towards Nunes who passes it to Vitinha who manages to find Ruiz in space on the left flank. Goes for a first time shot that is straight at Raya. He doesn’t hold it on the first attempt but manages to pouch it on the second attempt.

Some space for Doue to take a shot away after some short passing at the edge of the box. The young Frenchman’s shot is off target but. The wait for a shot on target continues.
Arsenal almost doubles the lead. Havertz was almost clean through near the right edge of the box, Marquinhos’ timely tackle saves the day for PSG.

Dembele shifts the ball onto his left foot and looks to get a shot away, blazes it wide. Hasn’t been able to get his shooting boots on so far.

Chance!! Ruiz heads the ball over the bar! Excellent play from Nuno Mendes to beat Mosquera and make a dash to the line. His ball in is deflected into the path of Ruiz but he can’t keep his header on target.

Havertz down on the floor after an unintentional arm by Hakimi as he looked to take the ball off him for a throw. The referees manage to diffuse the situation.

Doue steals the ball high up and PSG have a chance to run at the defence. Vitinha plays in Dembele but he has no space to take a shot, rebounds back to the edge of the area from where Arsenal clears again.

PSG play a short corner around and pass it to Mendes who curls a threatening ball in but Dembele couldn’t control it in the box.
Saka is pushed down by Mendes after Rice steals the ball high up near the centre-line. Rice whips a ball in and Gabriel is adjudged to have fouled Ruiz in the box.

A chipped pass into the box from the left back forces Raya to come off his line and kick the ball away. PSG continues to dominate the ball but Arsenal are affording the team no space.
Dembele fakes a shot to create some space and lobs a ball in, easy catch for Raya at the end.

Game back underway after the delay due to injury. No space for the PSG players to play the ball in from the right. A cross comes in from the right but is headed away by Gabriel.
Nuno Mendes has been down in the box for quite a while. Off the ball collision with Gabriel the reason but looks more an accidental coming together.

Safonov called into action!! Saka puts in a low cross into the box from the right. The Russian keeper dives forward and pushes it away. Cops a blow on his head from Marquinhos for his troubles.

A miskick from Saliba opens the pathway for a PSG attack. Dembele heads the ball back to Kvaratskhelia who is once again double-teamed upon and the attack fizzes out. Time for a water break.

Arsenal back defending in numbers, no space for the PSG frontmen to create a chance on goal.

Havertz gives the gunners the lead!! Arsenal get the rub of the green, the attempted clearance from the defender bounces off Trossard and falls into the path of Havertz.
The angle was tight and passing to Saka seemed the better option but the German launches it into the roof of the net!

No clear favourite, says Enrique
Luis Enrique insisted there is “no favourite” in the Champions League final against Arsenal, noting last year’s dominant win was exceptional. Enrique downplayed contrasting styles, viewing both teams as having similar, goal-scoring and strong-defending approaches with different tactics.
