Live From Computex 2026: We’re in Taipei Bringing You Every Big PC Hardware Reveal As It Happens


TAIPEI—You can always catch a glimpse at the future of computing at Computex, Asia’s largest tech trade show. This year, the future is tantalizingly near. Nvidia unveiled a game-changing Arm-based superchip for Windows PCs, and Qualcomm, Intel, Asus, and many others will have big news too. (Think: Everything from AI chips to slick new laptops to revolutionary new ways of cooling computers, if you believe the rumors.)

What Is Computex?

Asia’s biggest tech show and the world’s largest IT-centric conference, Computex is a sprawling, annual event that focuses on AI, computing, robotics, and next-generation technology. The organizing body is the Taiwan External Trade Development Council (TAITRA), in association with the Taipei Computer Association (TCA). It’s both a technology exhibition and a massive venue for procurement professionals and startups.

When Does Computex Run?

Computex runs from June 2 to June 5. Those days, the show floor is open from 9:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Taiwan Standard Time (closing at 3:30 p.m. on Friday). The day before, Computex Media Day is packed with keynotes, forums, and affiliated events.

Where Is Computex Held?

Computex is held in Taipei, Taiwan, at a mix of venues across the city. The primary ones are the Taipei Nangang Exhibition Center’s Halls 1 and 2 (also known as TaiNEX) in the city’s Nangang district. The show also has large show floors near Taipei 101 in the Xinyi District, at the Taiwan World Trade Center (TWTC) and the Taipei International Convention Center (TICC).

Satellite venues where key vendors also concentrate include the Grand Hilai in Nangang and the Grand Hyatt in Xinyi.

When Are the Computex Keynotes?

Nvidia’s keynote, off the official Computex premises, is at 11 a.m. TST on Monday, June 1. After that, Cristiano Amon, President and CEO of Qualcomm, launches the opening keynote at TaiNEX 2 at 2 p.m. TST.

The following day, June 2, Matt Murphy, Chairman and CEO of Marvell, and Lip Bu-Tan, CEO of Intel, give keynotes at 10:30 a.m. and 1:30 p.m. TST, respectively. The last keynote, by Rafael Sotomayor of NXP, is on June 3 at 10:30 a.m. TST.

Who Exhibits at Computex?

About 1,500 exhibitors from 33 countries are expected at the show. The household names include Acer, AMD, Asus, Gigabyte, Intel, MSI, Nvidia, and Qualcomm. The exhibitors are a broad mix of familiar consumer tech giants, startups, cloud computing entities, semiconductor firms, OEMs, and component and system makers.
