LinkedIn has introduced a new analytics metric that allows creators to see how much of their content reach comes from people within their network compared with those outside it, according to a post by Sam Carrao Clanon, Direcotr od Product, Creator, LinkedIn.
The feature is being rolled out globally and will provide a percentage breakdown of post impressions from in-network and out-of-network audiences.
According to Clanon, the in-network reach metric shows the share of impressions generated by people who already follow or are connected with a creator on LinkedIn.
The out-of-network reach metric shows the percentage of impressions from users who do not follow or are not connected with the creator and who discover content through recommendations, reshares, search results and other distribution channels.
The new metrics will appear in post analytics under the discovery section within impressions, giving creators additional information about how their content is reaching audiences on the platform.
