Kylie Jenner wasn’t among the stars photographed at the Met Gala after-parties yesterday, but she didn’t keep her late-night plans a mystery. She had a pressing beauty matter to attend to: dyeing her bleached brows back to her natural color.

She revealed on her Instagram Story that she had a little trouble. “Trying to dye my brows back,” she captioned it.

The star attended the Met Gala in a custom Schiaparelli gown, with her boyfriend Timothée Chalamet choosing to watch the New York Knicks’ playoff game for the second year in a row. (He is a very loyal, longtime fan.)

Jenner’s look featured a form-fitting nipple-baring bodice and an embellished satin skirt that was embroidered with over 2,000 satin stitch balls, 10,000 natural baroque pearls, and more than 7,000 painted pearlescent fish scales, per the fashion house. It took 11,000 hours of embroidery work to create.

Jenner recently spoke to ELLE about how she approaches dressing for red carpet events like the Met Gala, saying, “I like to lean into silhouettes that make me feel both comfortable and confident, whether it’s a custom moment or something archival.”

She added, “I feel confident when I get to have fun with fashion—I love to play with different pieces and styles to build a perfect outfit that shows off my creativity.”
