Krishnavataram Part 1: The Heart (Hridhyam), starring Siddharth Gupta, Sanskruti Jayana, and Sushmitha Bhat in the lead roles, recorded a decent start at the box office. The movie collected Rs. 1 crore on its opening day after minting around Rs. 40 lakh from the paid previews. That said, the movie made a sum of Rs. 1.40 crore on its Day 1, including paid previews.
Directed by Hardik Gajjar, the movie needs to multiply by big margins tomorrow and the day after tomorrow and then consolidate with a good hold from Monday onwards to become a rage at the box office in the days to come. However, for a non-starrer, it is a decent opening.
The Siddharth Gupta starrer mythological fantasy drama should close its first weekend around Rs. 5 crore. It has enough potential to be a sensation among the audience and turn out to be a surprise at the box office, depending on how it performs ahead.
