Batting first, KKR posted a competitive total of 247; Gujarat managed only 218. KKR got off to a strong start from the top order, with Finn Allen scoring 93 off 35 balls. Moreover, Angkrish Raghuvanshi also played a brilliant knock of 82 off 44 balls, while Cameron Green added a useful 52, helping the team reach a huge total.
With the ball, Sunil Narien was the standout performer, picking up two wickets. While Cameron Green and Saurabh Dubey got one wicket each, Kolkata’s bowlers defended the total successfully.
