Nintendo Switch 2 owners will gain access to the full Kingdom Hearts storyline this fall as Square Enix brings three major collections to the platform. Kingdom Hearts 4 is also coming to the system.
Announced during the June 9, 2026, Nintendo Direct, Kingdom Hearts HD 1.5 + 2.5 ReMIX, Kingdom Hearts HD 2.8 Final Chapter Prologue, and Kingdom Hearts III + Re Mind will release for Nintendo Switch 2 on Oct 8, 2026. A bundled edition containing all three packages, titled Kingdom Hearts Collection [I-III], will launch on the same day.
The release marks the first time Nintendo players will be able to experience the series through native versions. Earlier Kingdom Hearts releases on the original Nintendo Switch were cloud editions that required streaming because of the hardware’s limitations.
Square Enix confirmed that saved data from those versions can be transferred to the Switch 2 releases.
