Jamie Lee Curtis honored her older sister, Kelly Curtis, by sharing never-before-seen photos of them after her death.
On Saturday, the “Freaky Friday” actress took to Instagram to share a photo roll of black-and-white images of her and Kelly posing together.
“In 1984 on December 17, in the evening before my wedding, my sister, Kelly, who was my maid of honor, came to my apartment and slept over,” Jamie captioned the post.
“My sister and I were close as children but also had that sibling competition for divorced parent’s attention and love and we were wildly different and lived apart for many years, but she came back to be with me at my wedding and never really left again,” she added.
The Oscar winner, 67, said her sister Kelly worked for her at one point when she was “in between jobs” and became part of Jame Lee’s “family structure.”
“I miss her today but am buoyed by the knowledge that she is at peace,” she concluded.
Several celebrities took to the comments sections to send love to Jamie during this difficult time for her family.
“Beautiful ♥️,” wrote Jennifer Garner.
“The picture in the second column and second down is so tender and beautiful,” added Rita Wilson.
Earlier Saturday, the “Halloween” star announced that her older sister, Kelly, had passed away. She was 69.
“A warm aloha to my older sister, Kelly Lee Curtis,” Jamie wrote on Instagram, atop a black-and-white snapshot of her older sister smoking a cigarette while having her hair styled.
The actress wrote that her sister passed away “this morning. In her home. In nature. At peace.”
“She was my first friend and lifelong confidant,” the “True Lies” star added, noting that Kelly “was jaw droppingly beautiful, and a talented actress.”
No official cause of death has been publicly disclosed.
