Fortnite Status tweeted on X Saturday morning: “FYI: Fortnite game servers will be offline following the Zero Hour live event while we release v39.00! Downtime should last several hours.”

What we know about the new Fortnite season
The new season of Fortnite will be Chapter 7 Season 1 and have a Hollywood theme called “Pacific Break,” according to online gaming insiders.
The island map will be Los Angeles-inpsired and is expected to feature crossovers with “Kill Bill,” “Back to the Future” and possible the “James Bond” franchise.
Gamers earned a Yuki skin from the “Kill Bill” films by playing between Nov. 27 and Dec. 1.
