How Users Can Access and Share Instants
Meta has outlined several steps for accessing and using the new feature:
• Users can open Instagram DMs and tap the mini stack-of-photos icon located in the bottom-right corner of the inbox.
• Captions can be added before sharing, although editing options remain limited compared to Stories.
• Instants can be shared with Close Friends or mutual followers.
• Recipients can react, reply and share the received Instants within chats.
• An undo button appears immediately after sending, allowing users to retract content before delivery.
• Shared Instants disappear after viewing or automatically expire within 24 hours.
