Cristhian Mosquera is the latest Arsenal player to pick up an injury after the Spanish defender was forced off in the first half against Brentford.
The defender was withdrawn by Mikel Arteta just before half-time as it was clear that he was in considerable discomfort.
The Gunners will be sweating over the 21-year-old’s fitness, given the fact that Gabriel Magalhaes and William Saliba are already sidelined with injuries.
Following Mosquera’s injury against Brentford, an injury expert has just predicted how long the defender could be out of action for.
Cristhian Mosquera looks to have avoided serious injury
Cristhian Mosquera appears to have avoided suffering a long-term injury during Arsenal’s 2-0 win over Brentford, according to Physio Scout.
It seems like the youngster has picked up a minor muscular issue, which was possibly just a bit of discomfort or tightness in his leg.
Now, Mosquera could be out of action for around one week to a fortnight, and Arteta surely won’t take any chances on him.

Ahead of the match, Brentford boss Keith Andrews said he had been impressed by Mosquera, along with his new defensive partner Piero Hincapie.
His latest injury setback is such a shame, as Mosquera was proving to be a great signing for the Gunners, and he was looking strong against the Bees.
Now, Jurrien Timber is the latest player who will be called into the heart of Arsenal’s defence and asked to revert to his more natural role as a centre-back.

Despite losing his defensive partner just before the interval, Hincapie still enjoyed a brilliant display at the back for Arsenal.
In fact, it was quite possibly his best showing so far since making the switch from Bayer Leverkusen, as he didn’t put a foot wrong.

Hincapie looked shaky away at Chelsea, but he grew into the game in SW6 and continued to play well in the 2-0 win on Wednesday evening.
The 23-year-old made three interceptions, five clearances, three recoveries and won four of his seven duels.
