How Nag Ashwin Controls Anger On Sets

Nag Ashwin is one of the most talented filmmakers in Telugu cinema. With his three films, he caught the attention of many across the nation. His recent production venture, Sing Geetham, is a hit, and the film is currently doing well in the Telugu states. As part of the promotions, the team is aggressively promoting the film and during an interaction, Nag Ashwin explained as to how he keeps his calm on the film’s sets.

Film sets are places where the pressure has no limit. Everyone is always on their toes, doing one or the other work to meet the tight deadlines. In the process, the directors usually tend to lose their temper, and it has happened many times in the past. Nag Ashwin revealed that he usually doesn’t show it to others, while also agreeing that he gets worked up at times.

“I don’t scold other people or yell at someone on the sets for two reasons. One is that once I do it, there is a chance that the work may even become worse, while the other one is that everyone is working towards achieving the same vision, and sometimes, things run out of control, and there could be many reasons for that. But, I also get worked up and feel upset,” he said.

Another beautiful thing that Nag Ashwin shared is that most of the times, he identifies the problem much before but fails to spot it in the right time for which he gets angry with himself.

When you are handling huge projects like Mahanati and Kalki, things go out of control at times but when the captain of the ship loses it, that surely will leave an impact on others. Instead, Nag Ashwin does the right thing by being calmer.
