Equity mutual fund inflows rose to ₹29,900 crore in the month of November, the latest AMFI data showed with SIP contributions continuing to remain strong. Mutual Funds bought shares worth ₹43,400 crore in the month of November, while FIIs were net sellers worth ₹11,600 crore. Here’s a look at what India’s top Mutual Funds bought and sold in the month gone by, according to Nuvama Alternative & Quantitative Research:

SBI MF | India’s largest fund house by AUM invested in IPOs of Lenskart Solutions (₹1,239 crore) and Pine Labs (₹1,197 crore). It also increased its stake in Eternal (₹537 crore). Reduction of stake was seen in Kotak Mahindra Bank (₹847 crore), Eicher Motors (₹535 crore), and Asian Paints (₹337 crore). It also bought new stake in ASK Automotive, while making a complete exit from NSDL.

ICICI Prudential MF | The IPO-bound fund house increased stake in ITC (₹2,320 crore), ICICI Bank (₹2,015 crore), and Trent (₹1,619 crore). It reduced stake in Reliance Industries (₹1,744 crore), Bharti Airtel (₹1,703 crore), and State Bank of India (₹766 crore). It bought fresh stake in CG Power, General Insurance Corporation, ZF Commercial, Prudent Corp, CARE Ratings, and MM Forgings, while making a complete exit from NSDL.

HDFC MF | The fund house bought stake in ICICI Bank (₹1,084 crore), HDFC Bank (₹639 crore) and also invested ₹590 crore in the Groww IPO. Stake reductions were seen in Tata Motors CV (₹289 crore), Bharti Airtel (₹232 crore) and Tata Motors Passenger Vehicle (₹183 crore). Fresh stake was purchased in Praj Industries, Tega Industries, DOMS Industries, while making a complete exit from Muthoot Finance, Techno Electric Engineering, Leela Palace Hotels, and NSDL.

Axis MF | Prominent additions from the fund house in the month of November included Shriram Finance (₹611 crore), BHEL (₹309 crore), and Ashok Leyland (₹293 crore). Prominent reductions included GE Vernova (₹363 crore), TVS Motor (₹308 crore), and Bajaj Auto (₹306 crore). The fund bought fresh stake in Ashok Leyland, Indus Towers, M&M Financial, and Equitas Small Finance Bank, while making a complete exit from Cipla, EPL, Bajaj Auto, EPL Ltd. and VST Industries. It also invested in the IPO of Tenneco Clean Air.

Aditya Birla Sun Life MF | The fund invested in the IPOs of Lenskart Solutions (₹402 crore), Groww (₹334 crore) and Pine Labs (₹203 crore). It reduced stake in Bharti Airtel (₹237 crore), Interglobe Aviation (₹232 crore) and Adani Enterprises (₹184 crore). It made a complete exit from Groww.

Kotak MF | The fund house bought stake in Bajaj Finance (₹1,220 crore), Mphasis (₹717 crore) and Kotak Mahindra Bank (₹599 crore). Prominent reductions were Power Grid (₹595 crore), Titan (₹551 crore) and Sun Pharma (₹504 crore). It invested in the IPOs of Groww and PhysicsWallah, and bought fresh stake in Whirlpool, while making a complete exit from Exide, CAMS, and Bayer Crop.
