To celebrate Sir David Attenborough’s 100th birthday, you’ll find a very special Easter egg featuring some of the biggest flora, fauna, and critters in Google Search.
One of the biggest Easter eggs for one of the most famous naturists ever, Google Search is blazoned with a huge tribute to Sir David Attenborough if you search for one of Britain’s finest exports.
The London-born presenter has been awarded practically every honor that can be bestowed, but on his 100th birthday, this is yet another tribute that very few are able to claim. The voice of wildlife and one of the biggest animal advocates on the planet, it will be a tough baton to hand over, as there is nothing quite like a BBC documentary narrated by Sir David.
When you search for the eponymous broadcaster and voice of wildlife documentaries for the better part of 60 years, you will see a huge “Thank You, Sir David” note with animals made famous from many of his exploits across all corners of the globe. Gorillas, penguins, crustaceans, and even a blue whale or two might pop up ready to party with party hats, cupcakes, and a few gifts to celebrate the occasion.
Not limited to just the Google homepage and Search, YouTube has compiled a list of the top 10 most-viewed BBC Earth videos all narrated by Sir David himself. Personally, I prefer the 6-hour supercut of his most iconic moments that you can view here. Happy birthday, Sir David. You’ve been the voice of multiple generations.
