January will be a remarkable, happy, and productive month, the likes of which we’ve not seen in a long time. The planets will be surprisingly friendly in a way that has astrologers buzzing. You have an abnormal emphasis on money in your chart, so you could be concerned with matters such as paying bills, sending in estimated taxes, shopping for money at a bank or other lender or sponsor, and receiving money, too. It looks like you have a really good chance to leaving January a good deal richer than when you entered the month. Let’s look closely at the structure of the month and break it all down.
The full moon on January 3 will be at 13 degrees in Cancer and your financial second house and will be influential for plus or minus five days. Many people pay large bills at of the end of the year (which falls within the area of influence of this full moon) so that they can take legal deductions before the New Year, such as to give to charity or to make capital investments in their home or business. This may describe you, or you may simply be making a resolution to clear out credit card or student debt with a plan and begin to chip away as best you can, but also with a sense of purpose and determination
Remarkably, two things are going on. First, Jupiter, the giver of gifts and luck, will be orbiting close to the full moon (within 8 degrees—still significant), so you may be bidding on an important job or negotiating a salary. Alternatively, you may receive an unexpected check. Jupiter in your earned income (second) house will be in touch with long-term thinking Saturn, based in your professional career sector (tenth house). It looks like you will be switching up your working methods, and if you do, those changes will work and allow you to earn more money. You may be consulting with an expert or hiring a collaborator who turns out to be quite effective for you.
The theme of money management will increase and intensify by the new moon in Capricorn, 29 degrees, on January 18. As wonderful as the full moon of January 3 will to be for you (and it will be GREAT), this new moon will be even better for you. The new moon will appear in your eighth house of other people’s money, and, as it would earlier with this month’s full moon, Jupiter, planet of growth and expansion, will partner with this new moon.
