Gaurav Khanna, who recently lifted the prestigious trophy of Bigg Boss 19, is riding high on love and appreciation from fans across the country. In an exclusive conversation with India Forums, the actor spoke about the grand finale of Bigg Boss 19 creating history by topping the TRP charts and interestingly dethroning his own former show Anupamaa. For Gaurav, the moment was layered with pride, gratitude and nostalgia. While Bigg Boss 19 marked a new peak in his journey, Anupamaa remains the foundation that shaped his stardom and connected him deeply with television audiences.

Reacting to the massive TRP success, Gaurav shared, “Main bahut khush hua, you know, baad mein maine padha ki Bigg Boss finale ki jo TRP thi, usne baaki saare shows ko peeche chhod diya.” He further added how the joy doubled when he realised which show had been overtaken. “Aur phir maine dekha ki jis show ko peeche kiya gaya, wo bhi mera purana show hi tha. Toh wo bhi ek alag khushi hai, kyunki us show ne bhi mujhe bahut support kiya.”

Opening up about his journey, Gaurav credited his success to the love he received as Anuj Kapadia. “Aaj main jahan hoon, Anuj Kapadia ke character ki wajah se hoon, kyunki sabse pehle wahan par logon ne mujhe itna pyaar diya.” He also reflected on how one milestone led to another, saying, “Uske baad maine Celebrity MasterChef jeeta, aur phir ye Bigg Boss ki trophy ghar aayi.”
