Sathi Leelavathi marks the first movie for Lavanya Tripathi Konidela following her marriage to Mega Prince Varun Tej. The film arrived in cinemas on May 8, 2026, but unfortunately failed to make an impact at the box office.
Directed by Tatineni Satya, the movie is already making its transition to OTT within just two weeks of its theatrical release. Sun NXT announced that Sathi Leelavathi will be available for streaming starting May 20, 2026, in both Telugu and Tamil. This marks one of the quickest theatrical-to-OTT turnarounds in recent times.
How well the film will connect with digital audiences remains to be seen. The project features Dev Mohan as the male lead and is produced by Naaga Mohan under the Durga Devi Pictures banner. It is presented by Anandi Art Creations, with a musical score composed by Mickey J. Meyer.
