The FIFA World Cup 2026 is underway in full swing as USA, Canada and Mexico unite in a hitherto unheard of three-host spectacle in North America. In an effort to make the FIFA flagship more accessible, safe and entertaining for fans from all over the globe, the governing body and the organisers uphold a strict guideline policy outlining what fans can and can’t bring into the stadiums during matchdays.
Banners, no bigger than 3 × 5 and devoid of commercial or political messages, are permitted to be brought into the stadiums during match days. (AP)

All bags brought into the stadium must be made of clear plastic, vinyl, or PVC, with the maximum dimensions strictly capped at 12 × 12 × 6 inches, with exceptions for small non-transparent clutches or medical, diaper bags, subject to thorough security, are permitted. Large backpacks, and oversized luggage are completely for carry into the stadiums. (AP)

Small pocket-sized phone chargers and standard smartphones are permitted and fans are encouraged to have their mobile match tickets at their disposal. (AP)
