Fatal Fury: City of the Wolves ‘Wolves’ Destiny’ update detailed

SNK has released a new series of trailers introducing the major update for Fatal Fury: City of the Wolves due out alongside downloadable content character Wolfgang Krauser‘s release on April 24.

The update will include the following content:

• Wolfgang Krauser joins the roster.
• Addition of “Wolves’ Destiny,” the first-ever main story mode of its kind in Fatal Fury series history.
  • In Wolves’ Destiny, the fierce battle between the returned Emperor Krauser and the Emperor of Second South, Kain, begins… Witness this struggle for power in all its glory! A story of over 15,000 words fully voiced in both Japanese and English brought to life with nearly 150 new, original illustrations.
• New costume for Kain commemorating the new “Wolves’ Destiny” mode.
• Ring Out Battles make their return.
• Introducing the Fighter’s Hub, a one-stop shop for online match settings.
• Smart Style now allows the use of heavy special moves.

Additionally, SNK announced that Fatal Fury: City of the Wolves is now available in an entry tier “Standard Edition” format, featuring all games modes and characters (excluding downloadable content characters) for $19.99 / €19.99. The “Legends Edition,” which includes Season Pass 1 and Season Pass 2, is available for $49.99 / €49.99.

Fatal Fury: City of the Wolves is available now for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, PlayStation 4, and PC via Steam and Epic Games Store.
