EXCLUSIVE: Welcome To The Jungle trailer to be launched on Rs 1.50 crore set; Akshay Kumar and Firoz Nadiadwala set for a big launch
Akshay Kumar’s next big-ticket release, Welcome To The Jungle, is all set for a grand trailer launch tomorrow, June 11. While the excitement among fans is already touching the roof, Pinkvilla learned another interesting update on the same.
A source close to the development revealed that Akshay Kumar and Firoz Nadiadwala are leaving no stone unturned to make it a special launch event in recent times. The makers have spent over Rs. 1.50 crore on the trailer launch event. It will be a one-of-its-kind launch for a film in a long time. In fact, the makers have created a massive setup of a jungle at YRF studio, including waterfalls, just to offer a unique experience that blends well with the theme of the film.
The source further revealed that the team has blocked the entire studio for the launch. The mega-ensemble star cast of 30 actors will be present at the grand event, which marks the first promotional activity for the film. Usually, trailer launches happen at cinema halls, but the Welcome To The Jungle team is set to do it at a studio. It’s undoubtedly one of the biggest launches in the post-2020 era.
For the unversed, the upcoming comedy caper marks the third installment of the Welcome franchise. Choreographer-turned-director Ahmad Khan, best known for Baaghi 2, Baaghi 3, Heropanti 2, and others, has directed the film. It stars Akshay Kumar in the lead role, along with Suniel Shetty, Arshad Warsi, Disha Patani, Jacqueline Fernandez, Raveena Tandon, Lara Dutta, Jackie Shroff, Urvashi Rautela, Paresh Rawal, Johny Lever, Rajpal Yadav, Shreyas Talpade, Tusshar Kapoor, Krushna Abhishek, Kiku Sharda, Daler Mehendi, and others.
Welcome To The Jungle is among the biggest bets from Bollywood this year. The much-awaited comedy entertainer is slated for a worldwide theatrical release on June 26, 2026.
