Gaurav Khanna is all set to participate in the stunt-based reality show Khatron Ke Khiladi. After winning hearts on Bigg Boss 19, the actor will now be seen in another show. Gaurav spoke exclusively to Times of India TV, where he shared his take on participating in the reality show. He mentioned how he is competitive but doesn’t just want to run after trophies. While talking about joining the reality show and whether he wishes to maintain his winning streak, he said, “I’ve never chased trophies or victories as the main goal. Though yes, I am competitive and I always want to do well in whatever I take on, winning is never a prerequisite for me. I prefer doing things my own way and taking them one step at a time.”
The actor further added, “With Khatron Ke Khiladi, I know there will be moments that make me panic or feel scared. Still, I want to face each challenge step by step and see where the journey takes me. I do want to perform well, but that doesn’t mean I’m fixated on winning the ultimate prize.”Talking about his preparation for the stunt-based show, he said, “It’s not easy generally, you know, because it’s a very physically taxing show. But apart from that, it also takes a lot from you mentally, a show like Khatron, because everything is extreme on the show. Nothing is subtle. Everything is so extreme that you have to be just on the brink of your thought process. A lot of stunts can break you and bring out emotions, and I’m ready to do all that.”He further said, “I’m ready to show the emotions I go through, because I feel that’s the human thing, and I don’t like faking in front of the camera anyway. So certain things, if I can’t do them or if I’m not happy about them, you will see those emotions. And certain things that I feel happy about doing, which I never thought I would, will also bring out a lot of emotions, and I think people relate to that.”
