Ducati has released the limited production ultra-rare Panigale V4 Lamborghini in India at Rs. 1 crore ex-showroom. All the India-bound units have been booked, with the first unit delivered in Mumbai already. Also, the exclusivity means the motorcycle is also sold out worldwide, so if you were planning, hard luck. This model is a statement piece built around the Panigale V4 S platform and celebrating the brand’s close partnership with Lamborghini.
Panigale V4 Lamborghini comes with a long list of bespoke parts inspired by the Lamborghini Revuelto. Limited to 630 numbered units globally, there is a separate Panigale V4 Lamborghini Speciale Clienti series limited to just 63 units and reserved for Lamborghini customers only. These owners will configure their motorcycle in colours matching their Lamborghini supercar. For the Indian market, Ducati will offer exclusive Lamborghini livery with visible carbon fibre, Verde Scandal, Grigio Telesto and Grigio Acheso Tricolore details.
Powered by the glorious 1,103cc V4 Desmosedici Stradale engine, it produces 216bhp at 13,500rpm and 122.1Nm at 11,250rpm in this special. The bumped-up output comes from an approved Akrapovic titanium silencer with carbon end caps and dedicated engine calibration as well. With its weight pinned at 185kg in running order without fuel (nearly 2kg lighter than the Panigale V4 S), Ducati claims a power-to-weight ratio of 1.17bhp per kg!
Ducati has used carbon fibre extensively on the fairing, front and rear mudguards, chain guard, heel guard, fork cover, exhaust protection, alternator cover, licence plate holder, sprocket cover, tank protection, instrument mounts and radiator duct. The weave is also matched carefully along the centre line of the motorcycle to create a herringbone design.
The forged aluminium wheels have been made especially for this motorcycle and follow the design of the Revuelto’s wheels. The tail piece and winglets have also been reworked by Ducati’s designers to echo the shape language of the Lamborghini. The seat is dedicated to this model and takes inspiration from the Revuelto’s cabin.
Panigale V4 Lamborghini comes equipped with Ducati Electronic Suspension 3.0 paired with Ohlins NPX-30 pressurised front fork, Ohlins TTX 36 rear shock and Ohlins steering damper. All these bits are controlled by the Ohlins Smart EC 3.0 system. There is also an aluminium 17-litre fuel tank, dry clutch kit, adjustable footrests, adjustable brake and clutch levers and billet aluminium counterweights. Electronics includes systems such as Ducati Vehicle Observer and Race eCBS.
Ducati has also added several collector-focused details. The triple clamp is machined from billet aluminium and carries the model name and example number. The same number is laser-etched onto the aluminium ignition key badge. The instrument cluster also gets a dedicated key-on animation showing the motorcycle’s name and number. Each bike is supplied with a certificate of authenticity, a dedicated motorcycle cover, and a special personalised box. Ducati will also deliver each Panigale V4 Lamborghini in a customised wooden crate with a rear stand finished to match the bike’s livery.
For track riders, Ducati includes additional parts such as a billet aluminium racing fuel tank cap, carbon fibre brake calliper air conveyors, a licence plate holder removal kit and a carbon fibre open clutch cover. Do remember some of this equipment is not homologated for road use.
