Drishyam 3 Kerala Box Office Collections: Mohanlal starrer maintains STRONG grip on 2nd Saturday, crosses Rs 70 crore mark in 10 days
Malayalam movie Drishyam 3 continues to shake the box office with its spectacular hold. The Mohanlal starrer added another Rs. 4.50 crore on its Day 10, recording a 10 per cent spike over Friday. The drop from the first Saturday is around 50 per cent, which is a good hold.
The movie took its second weekend’s cume to Rs. 8.75 crore in two days. It is expected to close the weekend around the Rs. 15 crore mark, which will bring its total cume closer to the Rs. 80 crore gross mark at the Kerala box office. From there, Drishyam 3 will need only Rs. 20 crore more to enter the Rs. 100 crore mark, which should be achieved in its third week.
Interestingly, it will turn out to be the second Rs. 100 crore entry of Mohanlal at the Kerala box office, after inaugurating the club with Thudarum last year. If the movie continues to perform on the same momentum, it will have a chance to challenge the top grossers of Malayalam cinema: Vaazha 2, Lokah Chapter One: Chandra, and Thudarum.
