Deepinder Goyal unveils “Temple”, invites early users from elite talent pool as first 100 units ready

Deepinder Goyal has announced that the first 100 units of his new venture “Temple” are now ready to ship, marking an early milestone for the project as it opens up access to a carefully selected group of users.

The announcement was made via a post on X, where he also revealed that applications are now being invited from a niche set of individuals including athletes, scientists, founders, doctors, creators, and others who prioritise physical and cognitive health.

According to Goyal, Temple is being positioned as a product that will be shaped closely with its earliest users. He said that after applying through temple.com, selected individuals will be contacted by the team based on their potential to provide meaningful and critical feedback that can help refine and define the future of the product.

The framing suggests a deliberate attempt to build an early community that is deeply engaged with both testing and evolving the platform rather than simply consuming it.

In a further indication of an unusual early-access strategy, Goyal also noted that some of the selected users may be offered the opportunity to invest in Temple’s upcoming funding round.

This adds an investment angle to what is typically a product-testing phase, potentially blurring the line between early users and early backers of the venture.

While detailed information about Temple’s core offering has not yet been disclosed, the positioning of the initiative points towards a focus on enhancing physical performance and cognitive wellbeing, likely catering to a high-intent, health-conscious audience.

The emphasis on “physical and cognitive health” suggests a broader wellness ecosystem that may combine technology, behaviour tracking, and performance optimisation.
