That’s what The Miz has been for weeks now, and it came to a head when he aligned with Kit Wilson to oppose Danhausen. They were granted a match, provided Danhausen could find a tag team partner for tonight’s (Sat., May 9, 2026) Backlash premium live event at the Benchmark International Arena in Tampa, Florida. They left it a mystery all the way up until it was time to make their entrance.
They showed a “cloning machine,” which appeared to simply be a big ass box. When he opened it up, a very small lucha version of Danhausen stepped out and rode down to the ring with him. Wade Barrett called the entire thing absurd, making a mockery of The Miz’s Hall of Fame career. Then he wondered openly if the little person was actually a child because the company would get in a lot of trouble if so.
Naturally, Mini-hausen outwrestled everyone in the ring. It was still a comedy match, though, and they built to Mini-hausen getting thrown into the cloning machine and emerging with an entire group of mini-hausens. He tried to curse Wilson, who used a mirror to turn the curse around.
These are actual sentences I am typing out right now. My god.
In the end, Miz ended up using a fire extinguisher on himself and he was taken down and pinned, giving Danhausen and his group of minis the victory.
