Adivi Sesh and Mrunal Thakur’s romantic action thriller Dacoit: A Love Story is gearing up for its digital release after its theatrical run. Directed by Shaneil Deo, the film hit theatres on April 10, 2026. It opened to a mixed response at the box office but managed a decent run, collecting around 50 crore worldwide.
Now, the latest update is that Dacoit is confirmed to arrive on Amazon Prime Video on May 8, 2026. The film is set to stream in Telugu along with other South Indian languages such as Tamil, Kannada, and Malayalam. Though the Hindi version was released in cinemas, it will not be available for streaming due to the eight week window rule. When the window period ends, the same platform is expected to stream it.
Apart from Adivi Sesh and Mrunal Thakur, the film features Anurag Kashyap, Prakash Raj, Sunil, Atul Kulkarni, Zain Marie Khan, and Kamakshi Bhaskarla in key roles. The film is produced by Supriya Yarlagadda and presented by Annapurna Studios, with music composed by Bheems Ceciroleo. With its digital premiere around the corner, it remains to be seen how Dacoit: A Love Story performs on OTT.
