Cocktail 2 Box Office: Shahid Kapoor, Kriti Sanon, and Rashmika Mandanna starrer collects Rs 15.50 crore on Day 2, hits Rs 28 crore in two days

Cocktail 2, directed by Homi Adajania, witnessed a 25 per cent spike on its second day. The movie collected Rs. 15.50 crore, bringing the two-day cume to Rs. 28 crore nett at the Indian box office. On face value, these are good numbers, but there is said to be a considerable external push, so it’s tough to say what the real picture is. The wait is for the dust to settle, if at all it will.

The Shahid Kapoor, Kriti Sanon, and Rashmika Mandanna starrer is looking to close its first weekend around Rs. 50 crore nett mark. The real test will begin when the external factors stop playing their part. It met with mixed-bag reactions among the audience, which might be concerning for its business in the coming days.

The original film, Cocktail, had an opening of Rs. 10.50 crore nett in 2012, which would be much higher if adjusted to inflation. It was a clean hit venture, with its full run ending at Rs. 74.50 crore nett. It will be interesting to see how the sequel performs at the box office and whether it can match the performance of the OG film.

Box Office Collection of Cocktail 2 is as follows:

Day Box office
Day 1  Rs. 12.50 cr.
Day 2 Rs. 15.50 cr.

Total Rs. 28.00 cr.
