Juventus’ summer striker search is intensifying on multiple fronts, with the club accelerating their pursuit of Alexander Sorloth while simultaneously making enquiries for Gabriel Jesus and Nicolas Jackson as they plot a comprehensive overhaul of their attacking options following Dusan Vlahovic’s departure.
As per CalcioMercato, Atletico Madrid have rejected Juventus’s opening offer of €22 million for Sorloth, with the Spanish club valuing the Norwegian at €40 million, a significant gap that both parties will need to bridge.
Despite the distance, optimism remains in Turin. Spalletti personally called Sorloth and personal terms have already been agreed on a contract worth €4 million per season until 2029 with an option for a further year. The striker has promised to provide an update on his future before the World Cup begins.
Jesus and Jackson enquiries made as Juventus cast wide net in striker search
According to Romeo Agresti of Il Bianconero, again via CalcioMercato, Juventus have also made enquiries about Arsenal’s Gabriel Jesus and Nicolas Jackson, who could seek a move away from Bayern Munich given Harry Kane’s central role in the club’s tactical setup.
Both represent different profiles and price points to Sorloth and Kolo Muani, but the club are leaving no stone unturned.
Sorloth and Kolo Muani remain the clear priorities.
The PSG forward, who has returned to Paris after a loan at Tottenham, is expected to cost at least €40 million. Milan have also registered interest in Sorloth, adding urgency to Juventus’s pursuit.
With Openda and Jonathan David also potentially leaving this summer, Juventus may yet move for more than one striker before the window closes.
