ASUS ROG anniversary teaser matches earlier Crosshair X870E Edition 20 leak
The company has posted a short teaser showing a motherboard with a copper-style color design. The board also appears to feature a built-in screen displaying the old ASUS ROG logo. This lines up with ASUS’ anniversary campaign, which focuses on the early years of the Republic of Gamers brand.
This is likely the same board that appeared in an earlier EEC filing. As previously reported, ASUS registered two unusual motherboard names: “ROG CROSSHAIR X870E EDITION 20” and “ROG CROSSHAIR 2006.” Both names clearly point to the 20th anniversary of ROG and the original Crosshair series.

ASUS has also confirmed that ROG will celebrate its 20th anniversary at Computex 2026. The company says it will show special-edition products, ROG Lab projects and other anniversary hardware.
For now, ASUS has not confirmed the final name, chipset or specifications of the board shown in the teaser. The EEC listing suggests an AM5-based ROG Crosshair X870E model, but ASUS has not announced the product yet. More details are expected around the ROG press event on June 1, followed by the Computex booth showcase from June 2 to June 5.
To be honest, I’m quite sure we are looking at some kind of limited edition for influencers, so I will be genuinely surprised if this board goes on sale.
