ASUS ROG Astral RTX 5090 Edition 20 supports up to 800W power draw
ASUS has introduced two new ROG Edition 20 components for high-end systems. The list includes the ROG Astral GeForce RTX 5090 Edition 20 graphics card and the ROG Thor 3000W Titanium III Edition 20 power supply.
The graphics card is based on the ROG Astral RTX 5090 design, but adds a curved AMOLED display. ASUS says the screen can show 3D visuals, custom animations and real-time hardware data. It can also sync with a compatible ROG AIO cooler LCD, which means both screens can display matching content inside the same system.

ASUS has confirmed the Edition 20 offers the same specs as ROG MATRIX, which in this case means a 2760 MHz boost clock. The card is also visibly thicker than standard ROG Astral models.
800W power limit with dual input
The ROG Astral GeForce RTX 5090 Edition 20 keeps the quad-fan cooler used by the Astral series. ASUS claims this design improves airflow and air pressure by up to 20%. The card also uses a vapor chamber and liquid metal compound on the GPU.

The card supports up to 800 watts of power draw. ASUS lists dual-power input through a detachable GC-HPWR adapter and a PSU connection. This appears to build on the Astral BTF design, which already uses ASUS’ hidden power connector system for compatible motherboards.
ASUS is also showing the ROG Thor 3000W Titanium III Edition 20. This power supply is designed for systems with up to four GeForce RTX 5090 graphics cards. It uses server-grade GaN MOSFET components and a dual-voltage adaptive architecture for global voltage support.

The PSU also features the ROG Equalizer and GPU-First Intelligent Voltage Stabilizer. ASUS claims up to 45% better voltage stability during peak loads and overclocking. A detachable magnetic OLED display with an extender can show real-time power data inside or outside the case. ASUS says the ROG Thor 3000W Titanium III Edition 20 received a Computex Best Choice Award 2026 in the Computer & System category.
ASUS has not listed pricing or release dates for either Edition 20 product yet.
