Ubisoft is getting ready to set sail with the Assassin’s Creed Black Flag Resynced livestream tomorrow, but we’ve now caught word that the game is set to receive a swanky Collector’s Edition.
According to Insider Gaming, the Collector’s Edition was showcased during a presentation last week to media and content creators. It includes a map, a brooch, a notebook including in-game lore about Edward Kenway, such as his diary entries and thoughts, an Edward Kenway figurine sitting on a treasure chest, and a black-finished Collector’s Box.
The original version of Assassin’s Creed IV: Black Flag also featured a Collector’s Edition, so it’s not surprising to see that Ubisoft is also planning to release one for the remake.
As previously reported, Assassin’s Creed Black Flag Resynced is set to include new content such as a ‘cast of new characters and stories,’ although it will eschew the DLC and multiplayer content seen in the 2013 version. Reportedly, Ubisoft has ‘at least one‘ other Assassin’s Creed remake project in development, although its identity being kept under wraps at present.
