Arsenal have agreed deals to sign Ecuador youth international twins Edwin and Holger Quintero from Independiente Del Valle, with the two 16-year-olds to join the club in August 2027 when they turn 18.
Edwin is predominantly a right-sided wide forward and Holger is an attacking midfielder who is also capable of playing on the left.
Both players have been capped up to under-17 level by Ecuador but neither has yet made their senior debut at club level.
In a statement on Thursday confirming the agreement, Arsenal said they would be “collaborating closely with Independiente del Valle on the development and wellbeing” of both players.

Independiente Del Valle is where Arsenal defender Piero Hincapie — who joined in September from Bayer Leverkusen on a season-long loan with an option to make the move permanent — began his professional career and the Quito-based club have also developed multiple Ecuador internationals.
Chelsea midfielder Moises Caicedo and Kendry Paez, on loan at Strasbourg from Stamford Bridge, also came through the club, along with Paris Saint-Germain defender William Pacho.
Arsenal have recently created a pathway from their youth sides to the first team with Myles Lewis-Skelly, Ethan Nwaneri and most recently Max Dowman all being handed game time in Mikel Arteta’s squad.
In August, meanwhile, Arsenal agreed a deal to sign Shamrock Rovers midfielder Victor Ozhianvuna, in a transfer which is expected to constitute an Irish record. The midfielder will join the club permanently when he turns 18 in January 2027.
