AMD keeps AM4 alive with Ryzen 7 5800X3D 10th Anniversary Edition
AMD has confirmed the Ryzen 7 5800X3D 10th Anniversary Edition, a special re-release of its first desktop CPU with 3D V-Cache. The processor will launch on June 25 with a $349 suggested retail price.
The new edition keeps the same core specifications as the original Ryzen 7 5800X3D. This means 8 Zen 3 cores, 16 threads, a 3.4 GHz base clock, up to 4.5 GHz boost, 100MB of total cache and a 105W TDP. AMD’s official product page still lists the standard 5800X3D as an AM4 Ryzen 5000 processor with DDR4 support and no integrated graphics.

Special bundle
AMD says the anniversary model is bundled with a Carbice Ice Pad thermal interface material. The company calls it a long-life thermal pad designed to simplify installation and keep thermal performance stable over time.
The Ryzen 7 5800X3D originally launched in 2022 at $449. AMD’s new $349 price puts the re-release $100 lower than the original MSRP, though this remains a premium option for users staying on AM4. Still better than Intel ending its LGA-1700 family, I guess.
