AEW Collision was LIVE on TNT and HBO Max from the Covelli Centre in Youngstown, Ohio, and what an unpredictable night it was, including a pair of championship matches and a quarterfinal matchup in the Owen Hart Foundation Tournament!
The night began with AEW Women’s World Tag Team Champions Divine Dominion turning away their toughest challenge yet from TayJay. The Conglomeration, meanwhile, had their third successful defense of the AEW World Trios Titles by beating La Facción Ingobernable. After the match, Orange Cassidy was challenged to face Andrade El Ídolo this Wednesday at Summer Blockbuster and accepted!
In the main event, Hazuki beat Persephone to advance to the Semifinals of the Owen Hart Foundation Women’s Tournament, where she will meet Mercedes Moné – but Moné didn’t want to wait and wound up brawling with Hazuki to bring Collision to a chaotic close!
The issues between Shane Taylor Promotions and the Death Riders only deepened after what went down in Youngstown. AEW Continental Champion Jon Moxley, Claudio Castagnoli and PAC beat The Infantry and ROH Pure Champion Lee Moriarty after interference from both sides. However, Taylor made the biggest impact of the night by taking out Wheeler Yuta backstage to get Moxley to agree to a Continental Championship match on Dynamite!
All that and so much more went down on a huge night in Youngstown for Collision! Here are your complete results!
AEW Collision Recap Tonight for Youngstown
AEW Women’s World Tag Team Championship Match: Divine Dominion (“Megasus” Megan Bayne and “Colossal” Lena Kross) (c) def. TayJay (Tay Melo and Anna Jay)
TayJay earned this match last week by lasting five minutes against Divine Dominion, although it’s fair to say TayJay was much closer to victory.
Jay and Bayne pie-faced each other to open the match, but Jay hit a hook kick to knock Bayne on her heels. Bayne dropped Jay with a shoulder tackle and broke a bearhug by running Jay into the corner. Bayne ran into a boot in the corner and missed a splash in the opposite corner. Jay hit a spin kick to knock Bayne back into the corner and tried for a springboard bulldog, but Bayne threw her away and cracked Jay with a forearm across the chest. Kross tagged in for an early Divine Intervention, but Jay broke out of it and got Bayne and Kross to run into each other so she could tag Melo!
Melo and Jay alternated elbow strikes to Kross and followed with a basement Blockbuster followed by a running knee. During the cover attempt, Bayne accidentally splashed Kross to break it up. Divine Dominion nearly collided with each other on a reversal in the middle of the ring, so TayJay took advantage of the hesitation with strikes. TayJay hit a double superkick on Kross and sent Bayne over the top with a low bridge. Jay and Melo each went to the top rope at adjacent corners and flew to the floor, landing on Kross and Bayne with crossbodies!
Kross and Bayne survived the onslaught and turned things around, making Jay their uninterrupted target for several minutes. Jay was in massive trouble when she ate boots from both Bayne and Kross, followed by a huge German Suplex by Bayne out of the corner. Jay showed some moxie with a solid kickout at two, keeping their championship hopes alive. Jay tried to strike her way free of Kross, but Kross stopped that with one huge forearm. Jay caught Kross with a desperation bulldog and tagged Melo as Kross tagged Bayne. Melo avoided Bayne in the corner and came back with three huge pump kicks to Bayne! She followed by stomping Bayne to the mat. Another big knee allowed Melo to spike Bayne with a DDT for a near-fall!
Melo tagged Jay, but Bayne got loose and tagged Kross. TayJay hit Divine Dominion with big boots to send them to the corner. They alternated clotheslines in the corners until a double DDT on Kross, but Bayne was there to make the save. Bayne knocked Melo off the apron, so Bayne was clear to hit a pump kick on Jay, who was also German suplexed by Kross. Jay was covered, but Melo made it back in to break up the pin. Melo cracked Bayne with a forearm, but Kross knocked Melo down with a savate kick. Jay dropped Kross with a superkick. Bayne flew out of the corner with a clothesline to Jay, and everyone was down! Youngstown chanted “A-E-W!”
Jay slipped out of Kross’ grasp and tried to lock in a sleeper, but Bayne broke it up. Melo tried to throw Bayne out of the ring, but Bayne reversed it, and Melo went to the outside. Bayne followed, but back in the ring, Jay almost snatched Kross for a three-count. Jay locked Kross in the Queen’s Slayer! Kross fought and broke it up by smashing Jay into the corner. The referee didn’t see Bayne grab Jay by the hair and throw her to the mat. Kross tagged Bayne, and they planted Jay with Divine Intervention. Bayne covered, and Kross stopped Melo from making the save, so Divine Dominion got the pinfall victory! While Divine Dominion celebrated, Melo was beside herself on the apron.
Swerve Strickland and Brody King Will Clash at Summer Blockbuster
We took a look at the violent history between Strickland and King before they meet this Wednesday at Summer Blockbuster in the semifinals of the Owen Cup. The winner will face Will Ospreay at AEW x NJPW Forbidden Door. Swerve reiterated he’ll win by any means necessary.
Don Callis Family Destroys Innocent Bystanders
As Jake Doyle and Lance Archer decimated some poor bystanders, Rocky Romero and Trent Beretta laughed as Romero explained why they had to cut Konosuke Takeshita out of the Don Callis Family. Beretta said Takeshita has been replaced by TNT Champion “The Jet” Kevin Knight. They have new clothes, while Takeshita has a backpack.
Shane Taylor (w/ Shane Taylor Promotions) def. Alan Angels
Accompanied by the rest of Shane Taylor Promotions, Shane Taylor made his way to ringside for our next match. However, there was a bit of a detour for ROH Pure Champion Lee Moriarty, as he stopped to taunt Nigel McGuinness at the commentary desk. Meanwhile, Taylor began the match by brutalizing Angels in the corner and nearly knocking him out with one blow, very similar to what he did to AEW Continental Champion Jon Moxley last week. Angels had a brief window of hope, but Taylor slammed it shut with a huge right hand to knock Angels out of midair. He finished Angels with the Marcus Garvey Driver for the dominant pinfall win.
Shane Taylor Calls Out the Death Riders!
Taylor got on the mic after the match and explained that the Death Riders were considered the most violent group in AEW for years. They were willing to go further than anyone to do what they had to do, but that changes right now. Shane Taylor Promotions will be the most violent group AEW has ever seen. Taylor said, “Jonathan Moxley, you said it was real simple, right? If we wanted everything you got, all we had to do was beat your ass. I’ll take that bet, son. Why don’t you bring your ass down here? Bring your crew and let’s see if you can rumble, bad man, rumble?”
We immediately heard the familiar guitar riff and were taken outside the arena, where Moxley, Claudio Castagnoli and PAC made their way in and were met by the rest of the Death Riders as they moved through the crowd for the next match. Taylor remained at ringside and joined commentary.
Trios Match: Death Riders (AEW Continental Champion Jon Moxley, PAC and Claudio Castagnoli) def. Shane Taylor Promotions (ROH Pure Champion Lee Moriarty and The Infantry’s “Capt.” Shawn Dean and Carlie Bravo)
Moxley insisted he start, and Moriarty was more than willing to begin things for STP. The crowd broke out in a “Let’s go, Moxley!” chant, as he was wrestling in his home state of Ohio.
Moriarty took Moxley down with a cravat and controlled the AEW Continental Champion on the mat until Moxley stopped all that with one chop. Moxley took a moment to jaw-jack with Dean and Bravo, which allowed Moriarty to tackle him into the corner. The Infantry unloaded on Moxley, and Bravo tagged in for the first time. He lit Moxley up with chops and punches in the neutral corner, so Moxley marched to the other corner, and Bravo got him again. Moxley stopped Bravo with one big shot and unloaded with strikes while he mounted Bravo on the turnbuckles. Bravo ran into an armbar, so Moxley brought him over the corner and PAC tagged in while Moxley took the chance to bite Bravo’s fingers! PAC dropped Bravo with a snap suplex and followed with a running uppercut in the corner. A weak cover didn’t keep Bravo down, so PAC chopped him back to the corner for Castagnoli to tag into the match. He nailed an uppercut and almost toyed with Bravo with a gutwrench suplex from the ground, but the pin was broken up to keep STP alive. Bravo tried to strike his way free, and that was a poor idea, as Castagnoli alternated chops and uppercuts in the corner.
Bravo ran Castagnoli into the STP corner so all three could tee off on the Death Rider. That brought Moxley and PAC across the ring to take Moriarty and Dean to the floor. Castagnoli and Bravo slugged it out in the ring while Moxley dumped Bravo into the front row! PAC remained in control of Bravo until a well-timed trip by Dean allowed Bravo to hit a leg drop on PAC while he was laid across the apron! Dean tagged in and kept PAC in the corner to continue the advantage, but took the referee’s attention away so Bravo and Christyan XO could do some extra damage to PAC. Bravo tagged back in and mounted PAC for nine punches before biting PAC’s head in a clear mockery of Moxley’s typical offense. Dean got on Bravo’s shoulders to celebrate for a bit, and then Bravo threw him into PAC. Bravo hit a discus lariat, and Dean came off the second rope with a diving clothesline! PAC kicked out in the nick of time!
Moxley paced the apron like a caged animal, which fired up the crowd to chant, “WE WANT MOXLEY!” STP pulled PAC all the way back to their corner, much to the chagrin of the crowd and Moxley. The Infantry double-teamed PAC in the corner with Bravo hitting a crossover combo to stun PAC. Dean hit BBC on PAC for the second week in a row, as STP posed for the camera. Moxley had enough and came around the ring to attack them! He was outnumbered, but that gave PAC just enough time to recover, so when Moriarty charged in, PAC sent him into the turnbuckles and threw him across the ring with a release German suplex! Castagnoli tagged in and decked Bravo. He dropped Dean with a sidewalk slam and sprinted back to the corner with a devastating uppercut to Dean before absolutely unloading with a rapid succession of strikes. With the referee admonishing Castagnoli, he brought Dean out of the corner, just to blast him right back into it and lay in even more forearms to the point he was nearly disqualified! Castagnoli put Bravo on the top turnbuckle and ripped him down with a snapmare.
Bravo tried to fight away from a Giant Swing, so Castagnoli brought him back to the middle of the ring and flipped him into position for a Neutralizer. Moriarty jumped on Castagnoli’s back with a choke, so Castagnoli slammed him into the corner, and PAC made a blind tag. Castagnoli took Bravo down and put him in the Giant Swing until Moxley stopped it with a dropkick. Moxley nailed Moriarty with a cutter and then dove through the ropes to take him out again! PAC hit a running boot on Bravo and went up top, so Taylor came off commentary and got on the apron. With the referee distracted, Trish Adora pulled PAC off the turnbuckles, and he landed hard! Daniel Garcia and Wheeler Yuta pulled Taylor off the apron. Garcia threw punches, while Yuta ran in the ring to get a head of steam and dove back outside to knock Taylor into the commentary desk!
Back in the ring, PAC struggled to his feet while XO was on the apron to distract the referee. Adora came into the ring with a chair, but she took too long, and Marina Shafir hopped over the guardrail to hit the ring. Adora turned around into a violent kick to the face, and Shafir went across the ring to knock XO off the apron. Shafir and Adora brawled on the floor, while Moxley, Castagnoli, Garcia and Yuta ran the conveyor belt of strikes on Bravo in the corner. At the same time, the referee checked on PAC in another corner, which allowed Garcia and Yuta to get their illegal shots in undetected. Castagnoli held Bravo while PAC built up a ton of momentum for a clothesline that crumpled Bravo to the mat. PAC locked on the Brutalizer for the submission and a wild Death Riders victory. On the outside, Moriarty grabbed a chair and looked in the direction of McGuinness before Taylor got him to leave. The Death Riders held the ring as STP regrouped up the ramp.
After the match, we reviewed the wild events of Dynamite, including MJF’s successful AEW World Title defense over RUSH in a match with no countouts. Plus, Will Ospreay beat AEW National Champion Mark Davis to punch his ticket to the Owen Cup Finals at Forbidden Door. And last year’s Owen Cup Champion, Mercedes Moné, returned as the Wild Card to beat Alex Windsor in the quarterfinals. She’ll face the winner of tonight’s main event between Hazuki and Persephone.
“Psycho Killer” Tommaso Ciampa def. BEEF
Ciampa teased a test of strength and booted BEEF to get the quick advantage, but he missed a wild right hand when BEEF cartwheeled out of the way and dropkicked Ciampa! What agility from the big man, and the crowd loves it! He crushed Ciampa in the corner with a running clothesline and followed with another on the opposite side. BEEF tried a running bulldog, so Ciampa grabbed him by the hair to pull him to the ground. Ciampa knocked BEEF down with a knee strike and backed into the corner to lower his kneepad to lay out BEEF with a bicycle knee. That would have been enough to win, but Ciampa decided to send a message to Jericho by locking BEEF in the Liontamer to get the submission victory.
Tommaso Ciampa Sends a Violent Message to Jericho
Ciampa attacked BEEF after the bell and stomped him to the floor. Ciampa yelled at commentary to let Jericho know that he’s coming. Ciampa put BEEF in the Liontamer on the floor once again and asked for a microphone! Tony Schiavone brought one over, and Ciampa demanded Schiavone say that Ciampa is better than Jericho or he’d break BEEF’s back! Schiavone said, “You’re better than Jericho.” Ciampa didn’t think that was enough and demanded he say, “Tommaso Ciampa is better than Chris Jericho!” Schiavone begrudgingly obliged, so Ciampa let go and took the microphone. He made sure everyone heard it and said Schiavone is 100 years old and has known Jericho his entire career.
“You can’t run, and you can’t hide forever. The Psycho Killer is waiting for you, snake!”
Shane Taylor and Trish Adora Take Out Wheeler Yuta!
Nigel McGuiness said there was a commotion in the back, where Trish Adora told a camera to follow her to Shane Taylor. Taylor wanted Moxley to answer one question for him: “Am I my brother’s keeper?” He stepped back to reveal a beaten Wheeler Yuta and said Moxley failed. “Maybe all that time at the top has made the Death Riders soft!”
Taylor told Yuta he could blame Moxley for this ass-whopping. He spoke to the camera again and said next week, we’re in Moxley’s hometown, Cincinnati, so why don’t they show how nasty the ‘Nati really gets? STP doesn’t fear the Death Riders, but the Death Riders have every reason to fear STP.
“Let’s see how you rumble, bad man.”
Taylor slammed Yuta’s head into the metal garage and walked off with Adora.
The Dogs’ “100 Proof” Clark Connors def. Bang Bang Gang’s Juice Robinson
Before making their way through the curtain, Connors and David Finlay threatened a crew member with a match, as has become a custom, unfortunately, before their entrances. Robinson got a huge reaction when he came out, but Connors took advantage and attacked him at the bell. Robinson fought through it and unloaded on Connors before putting him down with a hip toss, bodyslam, Manhattan Drop and Russian Leg Sweep for a near-fall.
Robinson tried to go into his jabs, so Connors bailed to the floor. Robinson taunted him by raising his leg in a relieving fashion. Connors went to the other side, so Robinson chased him and connected with a cannonball to the floor! Connors ran Robinson into the apron, then into the metal barricade. Connors produced a box of matches and threw a lit one at Robinson, although it appeared to go out before connecting with Robinson’s chest. Connors beat Robinson around ringside while McGuinness recited the lyrics of “Youngstown” by Bruce Springsteen, which provided quite the soundtrack to Connors’ assault of Robinson. Connors brought Robinson back in and whipped him to the corner hard, which knocked Robinson to the mat. Connors lazily covered, so Robinson was able to kick out, although he was clearly in trouble.
Connors kept Robinson grounded with relentless offense, which kept Robinson in trouble until he was able to punch his way back into the match, only for Connors to pounce Robinson in the knee. Robinson kicked out at two, and the crowd chanted, “Let’s go Juice!” That helped because Robinson walked through Connors’ strikes until he dropped him with a shoulder tackle and a bionic elbow followed by a senton splash. Robinson lit up Connors with jabs and strikes into the corner. He backed up and nailed a cannonball! Robinson drove Connors down with a powerbomb, but Connors was able to kick out. Robinson pulled Connors into a Pulp Friction attempt, so Connors pushed him away and hit a powerslam out of nowhere for another near-fall!
Connors measured Robinson for a spear, but Robinson jumped over it and put Connors down with a flapjack. Connors rolled to the floor, so Robinson followed down with a pescado. Finlay ran down with his shillelagh, but Robinson ducked it and nailed Finlay with the Left Hand of God! Back in the ring, Robinson nailed Connors with a leg lariat and peppered Connors with jabs until he dropped Connors on his knee with the Left Hand of God! Robinson tried for Juice is Loose, but Connors pushed him away right into a shillelagh shot from Finlay that went undetected by the referee. Connors hit a spear and pinned Robinson for the win! The Gunns and Ace Austin ran down to stop Finlay and Connors from doing any more damage to Robinson.
TBS Championship Survival of the Fittest Contestants Are Ready
We learned much of the field for the TBS Championship Survival of the Fittest when Hikaru Shida and Kris Statlander took some verbal jabs at each other in pre-recorded comments. Mina Shirakawa and Harley Cameron are also part of the field, and both said they were ready, as did Queen Aminata and Zayda Steel!
Jon Moxley Accepts Shane Taylor’s AEW Continental Championship Challenge
Moxley said Shane Taylor has gone to extraordinary lengths tonight because he wants what Moxley has, and that means taking out Wheeler Yuta. Would Moxley have done the same? Maybe, but Moxley wouldn’t make that move unless he was absolutely sure. Moxley said when they go one-on-one, Taylor will find out he’s not who he thought he was. Moxley said he’s going to give Taylor exactly what he asked for this Wednesday on Dynamite!
AEW World Trios Championship Match: The Conglomeration (Orange Cassidy, Kyle O’Reilly & Roderick Strong) (c) def. La Facción Ingobernable (RUSH, Dralístico & ROH World Tag Team Champion Sammy Guevara)
With his glasses on, Cassidy started things against Guevara. Guevara spun on the mat and posed. Cassidy slowly spun and did a pose of his own. They both tried for dropkicks and went to a standoff, so Guevara offered a handshake. Cassidy tried a light kick, but Guevara quickly cut him off. Strong made a blind tag and put Guevara down with a shoulder tackle. He hip-tossed Cassidy onto Guevara and covered Guevara for a one-count. O’Reilly tagged in and he double-teamed Guevara with repeated strikes alongside Strong in the corner. Cassidy tagged in and went to the top rope, but slowly climbed down and hit a much safer elbow drop to Guevara over Strong’s knee.
Guevara poked Cassidy in the eyes and knocked him to the LFI corner. All three members of LFI came in the ring for running strikes to Cassidy in the corner, so Strong and O’Reilly tried to come in, and that pulled the attention away from the referee. Guevara faked jumping off the top onto Cassidy, only to drop down and poke him in the eyes. Cassidy backdropped Guevara and tagged Strong! He knocked RUSH off the apron and hit a backbreaker on Guevara before throwing him into Dralístico. Strong used Cassidy as a weapon to throw him into Guevara in one corner and Dralístico in another. RUSH came in, so Strong threw Cassidy into RUSH and RUSH pushed Cassidy back into Strong and blasted Cassidy in the face! O’Reilly kicked RUSH in the face, so Dralístico knocked him to the floor. Guevara came off the top rope all the way to the floor with a beautiful moonsault to Strong!
LFI stayed on Strong, as he became the isolated member of the champions. LFI used a triple-team attack in the corner and followed with a triple dropkick to a seated Strong. RUSH covered, but Cassidy broke it up, so RUSH threw him to the floor. Strong and RUSH traded chops in the corner and strikes in the middle of the ring. RUSH nailed a headbutt, but Strong pushed through it for a diving lariat to knock RUSH down. O’Reilly and Dralístico tagged in at the same time, but O’Reilly put Dralístico down quickly with his signature knee and kick combo. Guevara attacked O’Reilly, so O’Reilly followed him to the ropes with a knee and took him down to the mat. Dralístico tried to attack, so O’Reilly put him in an ankle lock. Guevara superkicked O’Reilly, who bounced off the bottom rope and ate double superkicks from Guevara and Dralístico. O’Reilly bounced off again and took Guevara and Dralístico down with a diving double clothesline!
Cassidy tagged in and went right to the top rope for a diving elbow to Dralístico. He followed with a spinning DDT on Guevara, but when he tried one on Dralístico, it was blocked with a codebreaker. Dralístico covered, and Cassidy kicked out at two. Cassidy escaped a suplex attempt with a Stundog Millionaire and positioned himself for an Orange Punch. RUSH stopped that with a huge punch of his own that knocked Cassidy down in the corner. Cassidy rolled to the floor before RUSH could hit the Bull’s Horns. RUSH followed, so he didn’t see Strong come through the ropes with double boots and O’Reilly come down the apron with a flying knee. Strong backdropped RUSH on the barricade and O’Reilly kicked him into the front row! Dralístico leaped over the ring post to come down on Strong and O’Reilly, but Cassidy dove through the ropes and connected with Dralístico.
Cassidy threw him back in, but Dralístico got sent back to the apron and pushed Cassidy into a jumping knee from Guevara. Guevara picked Cassidy up for GTH, but Cassidy stopped it on the way down. He got sent into Dralístico, who hit a kick to the head. Guevara picked Cassidy up on his shoulder again while Dralístico went to the top rope. Cassidy pushed Guevara into the turnbuckles, which knocked Dralístico down and gave Cassidy the opening to deck Guevara with an Orange Punch. He trapped Dralístico in a pin for a three-count and a successful defense of the AEW World Trios Titles!
The Dogs Challenge the Young Bucks for Summer Blockbuster
Finlay said they have quite a bit of history with Bang Bang Gang, but they aren’t worried about them right now. They don’t understand why the Young Bucks think they are the #1 contenders for the AEW World Tag Team Titles, when The Dogs were the ones who took out Cage and Cope. Finlay said it looks like they have a situation, so they should fight it out next week in Cincinnati to settle it. They offered the latest five-second pose in yet another mockery of the champions.
Orange Cassidy vs. Andrade El Ídolo Will Happen This Wednesday!
Lexy Nair tried to get a word with The Conglomeration after their successful AEW World Trios Titles defense, but they were interrupted by Rocky Romero and Trent Beretta. Romero congratulated them and said he had a challenge. This Wednesday, why doesn’t Orange Cassidy face Andrade El Ídolo, a man he’s never beaten and he never will?
Cassidy responded, “How you know?” Romero told him not to say that, but Strong said he asked a question. Cassidy said this was crazy and told them to leave. Beretta kissed what was likely another Don Callis purchase in a gaudy ring before leaving. Cassidy said they hung out here too long and, of course, he accepts. He has to lay down.
Owen Hart Foundation Women’s Tournament Quarterfinal: Hazuki def. CMLL World Women’s Champion Persephone
Our main event will determine who faces Mercedes Moné in the semifinals of the Owen Hart Foundation Women’s Tournament. This is a first-time matchup and an international dream match between two of the best in the world.
Hazuki controlled Persephone with a snug headlock, and Persephone couldn’t escape, so she pushed away to get separation. It was apparent that Persephone’s eyesight was still a problem from the black mist delivered by Julia Hart a month ago. Persephone flipped Hazuki to the mat and put on a wristlock, but Hazuki got out of it, and they exchanged some complicated near-falls. Hazuki and Persephone both avoided each other’s big shots, so Hazuki went back to the headlock to keep Persephone on the mat. Persephone got to the ropes and once again tried to fight through her eye issues.
Persephone ran into a boot from Hazuki in the corner, but rolled through a sunset flip and nailed a short-range dropkick to the seated Hazuki. Persephone tried to blink through the eye concerns and got a two-count on a pin attempt. She mounted Hazuki with repeated strikes and covered again for a two-count. Persephone slammed Hazuki from her shoulders to the mat and tried to springboard, but Hazuki pushed her onto the second rope and hit a backstabber followed by a running boot. Persephone bailed to the floor so Hazuki dove off the apron, but Persephone caught her and hit a nasty fallaway slam to the ground.
The back and forth continued, as neither woman seemed to stay in control for long, although Hazuki targeted the eye a bit more, with Persephone clearly favoring it. Persephone exploded off the ropes with a desperation lariat, and both women were down. Persephone checked her eye and chopped Hazuki to the ropes. Hazuki reversed and tried to come back at Persephone, but she matrixed out of the way and nailed Hazuki with a thrust kick. Hazuki ran into a tilt-a-whirl backbreaker for a near-fall. Persephone went for her Crucifix Powerbomb, only for Hazuki to wriggle free and push Persephone into the top turnbuckle.
Persephone caught Hazuki charging in and put her on the top turnbuckle. Hazuki turned things around with a diving hurricanrana that knocked Persephone into the opposite corner. She followed with a running elbow and fired up the crowd from the apron before hitting a springboard dropkick to get another near-fall. Hazuki sent Persephone to the corner and charged in, so Persephone put her boot up, and Hazuki caught it! She made Persephone straddle the ropes, putting her legs over each side. With Persephone trapped, Hazuki ripped her down to the mat with a codebreaker. Hazuki went up top, but Persephone met her, and both women hit hard on a superplex. After a few seconds, Persephone rolled Hazuki into a pendulum suplex.
Persephone pulled Hazuki up for another Crucifix Powerbomb attempt, but Hazuki rolled through into a Code Red for a near-fall! Persephone caught a running boot from Hazuki and trapped her leg in a bridging suplex, but this time Hazuki kicked out! Persephone looked at a loss for what to do next. Hazuki fought out of another powerbomb and nailed a codebreaker. With Persephone stunned, Hazuki rolled her into a La Magistral cradle to get a three-count! Hazuki is moving on to the semifinals against Mercedes Moné on June 17 in Houston on Dynamite!
Mercedes Moné and Hazuki Brawl to End Collision!
Hazuki and Persephone shook hands after the match, and Hazuki went up the ramp. With Persephone still standing in the ring, Moné hit her from behind with the Owen Cup Title! She locked Persephone in the Statement Maker and only released the hold when Hazuki returned to the ring, causing Moné to bail to the floor. When Hazuki went to check on Persephone, Moné came back in and attacked Hazuki with a barrage of unprotected shots. Security and officials came out to get Moné away from the ring, so she began leaving the ringside area only for Hazuki to dive through the ropes out of nowhere! Security and officials did everything they could to keep Hazuki away from Moné as Collision came to a close!
