Acer has announced a couple of new smart glasses including the Acer AR Vision GR0 and the Acer GI0. The former claims to offer an “immersive augmented reality experiences on the go by connecting with a device, while the Acer GI0 AI glasses provide wireless, hands-free capabilities via a Google Gemini-powered AI voice assistant,” as per the company.

Acer AR Vision GR0: Price, Specifications

The Acer AR Vision GR0 will be available in North America starting at USD 499.99 (approx Rs 47,500); in EMEA in Q4’2026, starting at EUR 599; and in Australia in Q3’2026, starting at AUD 999.

The Acer AR Vision GR0 is compatible with Android, iOS, and Windows devices, and connect through a wired connection and use dual micro-OLED displays to create an AR experience comparable to viewing a 172-inch screen from a distance of six metres. The displays offer Full HD Resolution of 1920 x 1080 in 2D mode and 3840 x 1080 in 3D mode, along with a 60Hz refresh rate, 200 nits of brightness, a 50,000:1 contrast ratio, 24-bit colour depth, and 95% DCI-P3 colour gamut coverage.

Acer says the glasses are suitable for gaming, entertainment, learning, and productivity use cases, while also providing greater privacy when viewing content in public spaces. The AR Vision GR0 supports both 2D and 3D content and delivers stereo audio through dynamic speakers positioned near the ears for a more natural listening experience.

Weighing just 69 grams, the wearable comes equipped with 3DoF tracking capabilities, along with accelerometer, proximity, and Magnetometer Sensors. Additional features include swipe-based brightness and volume controls, a detachable light shield for improved immersion, and support for optional magnetic prescription lenses. The device supports charging at 5.5V/0.85A and features an interpupillary distance (IPD) of 64mm.

Acer GI0: Price, Specifications

The Acer GI0 will be available in North America starting at USD 299.99 (approx Rs 28,400); in EMEA in Q4’2026, starting at EUR 399; and in Australia in Q3’2026, starting at AUD 599.

Acer GI0 AI glasses is basically a lightweight wearable designed to bring AI-powered assistance to everyday activities. Powered by Google Gemini, the glasses offer voice-activated interactions, real-time image analysis, AI-powered translations, and live captions, making them useful for travellers, professionals, and users who frequently interact across different languages.

The Acer GI0 works with Android 12 and above as well as iOS 15 and later through the Acer AspireSync companion app. Connectivity is handled via Wi-Fi 5 and Bluetooth 5.0, essentially allowing the glasses to maintain a reliable wireless connection with a paired smartphone.

A built-in 12MP camera enables hands-free photo capture at a resolution of 3024 x 4032 pixels and video recording at 1920 x 1080 resolution at 30fps. Acer has also included a voice recording feature, which allows users to capture conversations, meeting notes, and reminders while on the move.

The glasses feature stereo speakers, three microphones for voice interactions and calls, a side touchpad for navigation, a dedicated capture button that supports both short-press and long-press functions, and also a status LED indicator. Internal storage is handled by 32GB of eMMC memory, while a 217mAh battery powers the device. Charging is supported at 5V/1A.
