Aaron Paul Joins DC Studios’ ‘Clayface’ Film In Minor Role (Exclusive)

Breaking out in Breaking Bad, legendary television actor Aaron Paul has been expanding into the genre world as of late with roles in Westworld, Invincible, and the upcoming third season of Fallout, though he will be making the move into his biggest feature film since Mission: Impossible III, and its working alongside Tom Rhys Harries on DC Studios’ Clayface film.

Feature First has learned that Aaron Paul will be joining Tom Rhys Harries, Naomi Ackie, Max Minghella, and Eddie Marsan in the film. According to the source, fans can expect his involvement in the film to be brief and minor role. It marks the first time Paul collaborates with director James Watkins, producers Matt Reeves, James Gunn, Peter Safran, and Lynn Harris.

Despite releasing this October, the principle cast of this film is still slim, making Clayface as mysterious as that first trailer, which was released in April.

Clayface is the next feature from DC Studios following the launch of their DC Universe: Chapter One – Gods & Monsters, and their first two films Superman and Supergirl. The film hails from James Watkins, who adapts a script by Mike Flanagan and Hossein Amini.

The film will follow an upcoming actor, Matt Hagen, as he is left disfigured by a brutal attack, and takes an experimental treatment that turns him into a malleable monster. Read the synopsis, as first revealed by us, below:

Clayface tells the terrifying descent into hell of a promising Hollywood actor who has become a monster driven by revenge. An intense story that explores the loss of identity and humanity, the ravages of toxic love and the dark side of scientific ambition.”

Clayface hits theatres October 23, 2026.
