Peddi has collected Rs. 220 crore approx at the Indian box office in its first seven days. Of this, the bulk of the business has come from the Telugu states, where the film has grossed Rs. 171.50 crore approx. Peddi ranks as the joint fourth-highest grosser in the list of first-week grossers in the twin states along with Salaar, trailing behind RRR (Rs. 245.50 crore), Pushpa: The Rule (Rs. 218 crore) and Kalki 2898 AD (Rs. 190 crore).
A week in the box office terminology is the Friday-to-Thursday frame, but often the first seven days are called the first week as well, which, for a Friday release, is the same Friday to Thursday, but for mid-week releases, like Peddi is, the frame moves accordingly.
Within Telugu states, Peddi has outperformed in Coastal Andhra districts, where it is the fourth highest of all time. In Nizam and Ceded, Peddi comes in fifth place. The ranking isn’t too dissimilar in the three, but in Coastal Andhra, Peddi is just Rs. 2 crore short of Pushpa 2 in second place while in Nizam and Ceded, the margins are bigger. The films it trails in these three are also varying, with Nizam having a couple of Prabhas starrers ahead of it, while in Ceded, Devara is a film ahead of it, other than RRR and Pushpa 2.
