Enrique Iglesias is no stranger to showering fans with affection — but a recently resurfaced video has some followers wondering whether all is well at home with his longtime partner, Anna Kournikova.
The clip, which originated at a Las Vegas meet and greet in 2024, shows Iglesias pulling a fan close, kissing her on the lips and holding her by the hips while she snapped a selfie. The video is not new — but Iglesias’ decision to repost it to his Instagram feed recently caught many of his followers off guard, and it quickly went viral, sparking a wave of concern and criticism in the comments section.
“WHY WOULD HE DO THIS TO ANNA?” one user wrote, and many in the comments section largely echoed the frustration. Followers felt the decision to reshare the clip disrespectful, while others dispensed with the criticism entirely and simply wanted to know whether he and Kournikova were still together.

Iglesias was slammed for kissing the fan because the singer, 51, and Kournikova, 44, have been together since 2001, when they met on the set of the music video for his track “Escape”. The private couple have four children: twins Lucy and Nicholas, 8, and daughter Mary, 6, along with son Romeo, who arrived in December 2025.

For his part, Iglesias has previously addressed his habit of getting up close and personal with fans during performances — and said his partner has no issue with it. Speaking to Sirius XM’s Hits 1 Miami with Mack & Jen, in 2024, he explained: “Anna will be at one of my shows and I’ll do that. I do that all the time — I love embracing, kissing and hugging my fans. I like getting close up.”
During that interview, he credited his supporters for his success, saying, “I just love to get so much love from my fans and know that if it wasn’t for them I wouldn’t be where I am.”
The couple have long kept their relationship and family life largely out of the public eye. Kournikova stepped away from her career as a professional tennis player in 2003.
