Ubisoft has announced the much-awaited AC Black Flag Resynced, revealing the remake of one of the most popular titles in the franchise. With the game set to release on multiple platforms on July 9, 2026, information about PlayStation 5 and Pro support has been revealed.
As per the information from reliable data miner @PlaystationSize, Assassin’s Creed Black Flag Resynced on PS5 and PS5 Pro will feature three graphics modes, as follows:
- 60 FPS Performance mode
- 30 FPS Fidelity mode
- 40 FPS Balanced mode (requires 120Hz display)
The variable framerate will allow players to play as they desire, squeezing out as much performance as possible. Additionally, the DualSense controllers will support haptic feedback and adaptive triggers, making the gameplay even more immersive and engaging. The title will also have fast-loading times, utilising the SSD in the device.
Alongside these features, Assassin’s Creed Black Flag Resynced on PS5 and PS5 Pro will also support Tempest 3D audio technology, offering better and clearer auditory cues. This will be supported by Raytraced Global Illumination (RTGI) across all graphics modes, with Fidelity mode adding raytraced reflections as well.
As for the PS5 Pro version of AC Black Flag Resynced, it will be specifically enhanced with higher graphical fidelity and additional rendering features for even better visual quality. The title will ship with the brand-new PlayStation Spectral Super Resolution 2.0 (PSSR 2) right out of the box, making it a graphically stunning experience.
