Xiaomi’s Redmi Turbo 5 series set to launch in China tomorrow, featuring powerful specs including a Dimensity 8500-Ultra chipset and impressive battery.
Xiaomi is preparing to unveil its latest smartphone series, the Redmi Turbo 5, in China on January 29, 2026. Ahead of the much-anticipated launch, the company has disclosed several key specifications that highlight the device’s capabilities.
According to the official announcements made via social media platform Weibo, the standard Redmi Turbo 5 will be equipped with a MediaTek Dimensity 8500-Ultra chipset. This powerful processor is designed to enhance performance, particularly for gaming and heavy applications.
In addition to the processing power, the device will incorporate LPDDR5X Ultra RAM, alongside storage options featuring UFS 4.1 technology. These specifications promise efficient multitasking and rapid data access.
Thermal management has also been a focus in the design of the Redmi Turbo 5. The smartphone will utilise an innovative “3D Ice-Sealed circulation cooling pump,” which according to Xiaomi, can deliver three times more efficient heat dissipation compared to traditional cooling systems.
