WTA Rabat Day 3 Predictions Including Parks vs Teichmann

Posted on

As the Round of 16 takes shape at the WTA Grand Prix de SAR La Princesse Lalla Meryem in Rabat, it delivers another day of intriguing clay-court battles. With the French Open looming, Wednesday’s matches pit home support, seeded experience, and comeback stories against one another. As always, we here at LWOT will be offering our predictions for every match on the schedule. But who will advance?

WTA Rabat Day 3 Predictions

Yasmine Kabbaj vs Tatjana Maria

Head-to-Head: First meeting

Home advantage and a partisan crowd will boost wild card Yasmine Kabbaj, but her 2026 clay form is modest at 3-7, with only three wins in her last ten matches overall.

Tatjana Maria has been quietly effective, posting a 5-5 clay record and reaching the Rouen semifinal. The German veteran brings variety, slices, and matchcraft that disrupt rhythm players. Experience should outweigh the home support here.
Prediction: Maria in 2

Emiliana Arango vs Anna Bondar

Head-to-Head: Bondar 2-1 Bondar

Anna Bondar has been one of the more consistent performers on clay in 2026, compiling an 11-4 record and winning seven of her last ten matches. The seeded Hungarian’s reliable baseline game and prior success against Arango on the surface give her a clear edge.

Emiliana Arango has had a modest run on clay this season. After a solid start in Bogota, her form has been shaky, making this a tough test against a confident seeded opponent. Bondar’s consistency from the baseline and the head-to-head advantage on clay both point in her direction.
Prediction: Bondar in 2

Sada Nahimana vs Panna Udvardy

Head-to-Head: First meeting

Sada Nahimana enjoyed a good run in Rabat last year, reaching the second round, and holds a respectable 13-7 clay record in 2026 with two ITF finals. However, most of her success has come at lower levels.

Panna Udvardy enters with stronger WTA-level credentials on the surface with a run to the final in Bogota. Her experience at this tier and ability to string together deep runs should prove decisive, though Nahimana’s home-court comfort could make it competitive.
Prediction: Udvardy in 3

Alycia Parks vs Jil Teichmann

Head-to-Head: First meeting

This matchup offers an interesting contrast in momentum and surface affinity. Jil Teichmann returned from a long injury layoff and immediately showed signs of her old level, defeating Julia Grabher 6-4 7-6 in the first round, her first WTA win in nine months. She owns a solid career WTA clay record and has won both her titles on the surface. Her lefty serve and game translate well to clay.

Alycia Parks has been more active, going 9-6 on clay in 2026, but her career WTA clay record stands at a modest 11-17. The surface has historically been her weakest. Teichmann’s quality and fresh momentum give her the advantage.
Prediction: Teichmann in 3
