We asked kids to rate Stagecoach style. ‘Frankenstein’s bride’ was a surprise.

Posted on

It was a little bit country, a little bit rock ’n’ roll — and a lot of the Western style aesthetic — at Stagecoach over the weekend.

On the heels of Coachella, country artists — and fans — descended on Indio, Calif., for a weekend of music, food, boot branding and honky-tonk fun, headlined by Post Malone, Lainey Wilson and Cody Johnson.

We once again assembled a panel of young critics — kids! — to review the most memorable looks as celebrities embraced the hootenanny spirit in the desert.

Their commentary remains blunt, creative and often unintentionally hilarious. This time around, they gravitated toward outfits with a country flair (think: “summer cowboy” and “fairy cowboy”). Sometimes they shared whatever popped into their vivid imaginations: “Big Bird vibes,” “Frankenstein bride,” “colorful ghost” … you get the idea.

And while Jack Black didn’t take the stage, or make the scene even, he still came up more than once, thanks to young fans of his movies.

All right, hit it, kids. Let’s get your take on Stagecoach style …
