A major update has arrived for fans of Makkal Selvan Vijay Sethupathi, as his upcoming web series with National Award-winning filmmaker M. Manikandan has locked its streaming date. The actor has joined hands with the acclaimed director for an action-thriller series titled Muthu Alias Kaattaan, which is simply called Kaattaan.
The Jio Hotstar special series will premiere on March 27, 2026, the platform officially announced. The show will stream not only in Tamil but also in Telugu, Hindi, and other regional languages simultaneously.
Milind Soman, Sudev Nair, Risha Jacobs, and Vadivel Murugan play key roles in this A-rated series. The project is produced by Vijay Sethupathi under his own production banner, while Rajesh Murugesan has composed the music.
