Actress Ridhima Pandit has taken a strong stand against online harassment by sending a legal notice to fellow reality show contestant Vanshaj Singh and filing a complaint with the cyber police. The move comes after days of alleged online abuse, threats, and targeted hate directed at the actress following their altercation on the reality show “The 50”.It is alleged that Singh’s actions on social media were responsible for his fans trolling the actress. Since then, it is alleged that the actress has been subjected to severe online abuse, including death threats, rape threats, and derogatory messages.
Through her legal team, Ridhima Pandit has now issued a legal notice to Vanshaj Singh and has also approached the cyber police seeking strict action against those responsible for the online threats and harassment.As the matter now moves into legal proceedings, all eyes are on how the authorities will address the complaint and what impact this could have on curbing online hate campaigns.
