Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra purchased for $3300 • Межа

Tech blogger Sahil Karoul from Dubai decided not to wait for the presentation and bought the Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra even before its official release. The smartphone was sold directly in a store at the local electronics market. The price of $3300 is clearly not an incentive to purchase for personal use. This is indeed a real Galaxy S26 Ultra and the “world’s first” unboxing video.

The YouTuber overpaid for the smartphone twice, as the base S26 Ultra with 256 GB of storage is expected to cost $1,299. The device in the video seems to be a production model, not a prototype or a cheap clone.

The narrow box has a two-year warranty sticker, as well as an IMEI sticker, and is packaged as a regular production model. It contains the gadget, which looks like the previous images, an instruction manual, a “paper clip” for removing the SIM card, and a cable for charging and data transfer.

The smartphone screen is protected by a black factory film, in the recess there is a stylus, which Karul took out and showed. The corners of the device are noticeably rounder compared to the S25 Ultra. When weighing, the Galaxy S26 Ultra weighed 215 g, while its predecessor weighed 221 g. The YouTuber took out and showed the SIM tray, turned on the device and compared its interface with the S25 Ultra, and also launched several games and checked the photo quality.

Karul compared the appearance of the Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra with several other smartphones: vivo X300, OPPO Find X9 Pro, iPhone 17 Pro Max and its predecessor, the Galaxy S25 Ultra. He also showed off one of the main new features – Private Display. It protects the screen from prying eyes, taking into account the viewing angle.

The video blogger not only reviewed the S26 Ultra, but also ran several tests. In AnTuTu, the gadget scored 3,720,219 points, in Geekbench the device showed a result of 3,648 points in the single-core test and 10,898 in the multi-core test. 3DMark Wild Life Extreme Stress Test showed the best result of 6849 with a stability of 53.2%.

Preliminary tests should be treated with caution, as the software may not be final yet. The Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra will be officially unveiled tomorrow, February 25.
