Nearly four years on from his Liverpool exit, Sadio Mane is still impressing in the Saudi Pro League with Al-Nassr.
They are top of the division right now, and the form of the ex-Red has been crucial to their success.
Al-Nassr may have lost three and drawn one in the Saudi Pro League this term, but not a single point has been dropped with Mane in the squad.
Will Xabi Alonso be Liverpool manager by the start of the 2026/27 season?
If no, where will he be instead?
Sadio Mane has won all of his Saudi Pro League games in 2025/26
Mane won the AFCON earlier this season, besting Mohamed Salah’s Egypt en route to the final.
While competing for his country, the former Liverpool ace missed seven league matches, seeing his club drop 11 points during that period.
However, prior to his exit and following his return, Mane has been able to maintain a 100% win record in the division.
At present, he has made 18 Saudi Pro League appearances this term, scored seven, assisted five and, of course, picked up maximum points.
An incredible feat that even former Manchester United and Real Madrid star Cristiano Ronaldo has not managed with the same club.
Ronaldo moved to Al-Nassr as a free agent in January 2023, and his best chance of matching Mane’s incredible record came during his first half-season with the club.
However, in the 16 league ties he did play, the Middle East outfit fell to defeat twice and drew four games.
Unpopular opinion: Peak Sadio Mane was better than peak Mohamed Salah…
People aren’t ready for that discussion…
What Sadio Mane said about leaving Liverpool
With Mane still impressing in Saudi Arabia and Liverpool’s current senior left wingers struggling, fans probably wish the 33-year-old had stuck around a little while longer.
However, he departed from Bayern Munich in the summer of 2022 and opened up on his Anfield exit during an interview this past November,
He said: “Liverpool was like home. It was my comfort zone. Let’s try to try something [else] because I have almost won everything here.
“So my challenge is not because… of course some things can happen or blah blah, but for me that was not really important.
“The motivation for me to go somewhere, okay to see… to leave my comfort zone and to do something else in the other part. So that was my reason why I say, ‘Okay let’s try. Why not?’”
